About this deal

This 1st pressing variation has turquoise sleeve lettering (like this one) and Superhype Music/Jewel Music Publishing credits labels. I took it apart and wrapped electrical tape around the capstan flywheel to increase its diameter and make the speed more accurate.

The origin story for the name Led Zeppelin has never been confirmed, but like all great myths of rock 'n' roll history, it's worth believing. However, whichever copy you look for, finding Led Zep II in great condition is harder work than listening to Depeche Mode’s third album. Page composition) is actualy "inspired" almost note by note by 1966 Bert Jansch's title compositoon "Black Water Side" (from Jack Orion-1966 LP). Discogs states this info about the Houses album: “Between 1981 and 1984 there was applied an 85% luxury tax on vinyl imports in Iceland, which forced 3 Icelandic companies to start pressing vinyl in Iceland: labels Steinar, Fálkinn and Spor.

Vinyl in VERY GOOD condition, MINIMAL superficial surface marks and minor background noise in places. BUT LED ZEPPELIN 1ST On Japanese Nippon With Mispelt Cover and Insert 'And OBI All in Great Nick Is Hard To Find . HI, I inherited a pretty big vinyl collection a few years ago and am thinking of selling some , including the Led Zeppelins. Probably worth saying that if it is sealed it may be worth more than if you break the seal to look at the label. If you want to avoid the hassle, take your collection to a record dealer, but expect them to pay a third or less of what they are worth if you were to sell them yourself. I’m assuming you mean that the album has the Side 2 tracks pressed onto both sides, and not that there are simply two Side 2 labels on the LP. The 2nd pressing has orange sleeve lettering with grey stripe at bottom on front cover and without Superhype credits with instead Warner Bros/7 Arts. If it is 75 Rockefeller instead (but still SD-8236), you have a circa-1974 re-issue (Atlantic moved their offices to the latter address in 1973).
