About this deal

The main feature of the UX3000 is their ANC capability, which is quite well executed. The final UX3000 offer great noise cancelling, with a lot of reduction in the lower frequencies. This is enough to almost completely remove the rumble of a bus or of a subway train so that you can enjoy your music without resorting to a raise in volume. On the other hand, though, midrange is not reduced a lot and this makes it so that you will hear voices, among other noises, clearly enough, despite the good job done by the passive isolation. I’ve found myself wishing for more ANC and/or passive isolation on a couple of occasions; Glasgow’s subway is especially noisy and the UX3000 wasn’t able to shield me enough from the noise outside. Battery life is quoted at 25 hours with active noise-cancellation switched on, or 35 hours with ANC switched off. The UX3000 can go from ‘flat’ to ‘full’ in around 150 minutes when charging, and they use USB-C. The Bose QC45 and AKG N700NC M2 only support SBC and AAC so these are not an option. The AKG N700NC M2 also supports Samsungs Scalable Audio Codec but this is only applicable to Samsung phones. A Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones Fine-tuned for Premium Sound Quality Brought to Perfection by High-End Audio Expert Final’s audio tuning has produced a well-performing pair of headphones that are unaffected even when the ANC is switched on. The overall sound quality is performed regardless of the type of music and you will notice when you switch the ANC on you get an extra level of depth to the soundstage.

In addition to SBC and AAC, UX3000 supports aptX Low Latency, a low-latency codec that delivers high-quality sound with minimal interruptions and time delay. This allows you to enjoy music, games and videos with ease. And with multi-point connectivity, you can connect up to two devices at the same time, such as your PC and smartphone, and switch between them while they're connected. FeaturesBut if you are after a set of headphones that can transport you in a different way and truly manage to lose you in your music (without noise-cancelling, we fully accept), there are cheaper and better options out there. Now here comes the important part. Final delivered something that has all the key qualities of mainstream wireless headphones: comfort, good battery life, and a solid ANC implementation. But how does it sound? I’m quite happy with Final Audio’s first venture into over-ear Bluetooth headphones. There’s a good amount of room for improvement in this series, from its more recessed sound elements to its sometimes fatiguing fit. Overall, this is still a worthy noise-canceling headphone for the price, offering some of the most effective ANC you can find without a pretty penny on an industry leader like Sony headphones. The UX3000 is a great wireless option that mostly lives up to Final Audio’s standard for sound quality. Pros Final Audio seems to have aimed for nothing more radical than ‘compact’ and ‘nicely textured’ with the design of the UX3000. These are pleasantly light headphones, fold up neatly (there’s a soft carry-pouch provided in the box) and feature earcups that don’t threaten to engulf the smaller-headed among us. Moving to the overall sound quality the UX3000 come with a light level of tuning. You get a slight elevation in the bass and this results in a slight adjustment of the top-end. The EQ comes with a wave-shaped curve than anything more drastic.

Final’s ANC UX3000 Wireless Headphones Are A Genuine Bargain Final’s ANC UX3000 Wireless Headphones Are A Genuine Bargain

The high-performance microphone makes it easy to make phone and video calls. Users can also make calls while using the noise-canceling function – allowing you to hear voices clearly while shutting out outside noise. The headband of the UX3000 can be folded for compact storage, making the headphones easy to carry around. A soft carry pouch is provided with the headphones although I think I would have preferred a hard case for using when traveling on a plane or a train. However, at this price point that might be asking a little too much. Since beginning sales of our own final brand earphones in 2009, our way of thinking regarding good sound quality and designs that differ to those of other major electronics manufacturers has garnered attention, and we have built our own unique place both in Japan and abroad. Final is probably best known for its extravagant and pricey wired headphones, so the UX3000 are pretty much the antithesis of that. For anyone coming to this review at a later point, I’ve owned these headphones for more than half a year and I can say the headphones are easily a 8/10 if not 9/10 especially for the price.

For casual listening I would definitely recommend these headphones as an everyday Bluetooth headphone. For the price they are absolutely worth the money but I still wish they came with a case for better protection during travel. The Hybrid Active Noise-Cancelling System features 2 microphones on each ear cup by having one of the microphones collecting noise signal from the external of the housing and another one collecting sound signal from the output of the driver unit. The Final UX3000 do not look overly unique they are made of plastic with small ear cups with faux leather padding but use a coating called shibro which protects the outside of the earcups from getting dirty. I have been using them for the last few weeks now and they are comfortable for short periods of time, however, the band did feel a little tight and the result was a little ear fatigue, especially after a long period of use.
