About this deal

Well, we won’t ever be trying Jam Jar Gin Morus LXIV, I thought – so continued the hunt for another gin to indulge our humbler tastes.

When you take a sip, you will notice a delightful zingy orange scent that is followed by a rich, chocolatey undertone, with hints of the vanilla-infused cake and a tiny dash of almond, followed by that refreshing, pine-scented juniper. We tried ours with the recommended light tonic, and it didn’t lose any of its flavour, right down to the last piece of melted ice.

The label claims it’ll make the best Negroni mankind has ever seen, but we’ll let you be the judge of that one - though you will get top marks if you stick a Jaffa cake on your glass like a citrus wheel garnish. Following the repealing of the Gin Act in 2008, which had banned small scale distilleries from producing the tipple since 1751, gin has seen a resurgence in recent years, with all sorts of flavours being combined with this lip-smacking tipple. It may not be reproduced in any way whatsoever without Wm Morrisons Supermarkets Limited prior consent, nor without due acknowledgement. Finish with a sophisticated sliver of orange peel or have some fun and garnish with a Jaffa Cake, because, why on earth not?

A simple mix, all you have to do is add 25ml each of Jaffa Cake Gin, Campari and Martini Rosso sweet Vermouth into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake. This cookies is installed by Google Universal Analytics to throttle the request rate to limit the collection of data on high traffic sites.

or you can purchase the Negroni Bundle by Master of Malt, which includes all the ingredients you need to make a Negroni. Have you been enjoying the brilliance of Jaffa Cake Gin, but had that little voice in the back of your head say "You know what? Now, if something is delicious, chances are someone will make a gin with it, and that’s exactly what has happened here. As I mentioned a while back on a short story written for our Home Page, I was browsing the internet looking for some new gin to try, when I fell upon an article about the most expensive gins in the world. This dreamy gin-spiked Jaffa Cake Hot Chocolate recipe is easy to make and if you love the flavour combination of chocolate orange and vanilla (the flavours of a Jaffa Cake), this recipe is a sure winner.

We digress, for there is a new creation on the market, and this one may seem an unusual combination but, trust us, you will be satiated. Ideal for gin lovers and those with sweet cravings, and not simply a novelty item either as this unique gin can be combined with Campari and sweet red vermouth to create a delightful twist on the classic Negroni, but we’ll talk about that later. The cake element of the Jaffa Cake is then represented in this hot chocolate recipe by a touch of Vanilla Syrup. For those lovers of the delightful biscuity cake-like creation that is the McVities Jaffa Cake, you will have, no doubt, rejoiced when the first giant Jaffa Cake recipe was released. Bringing together two timeless classics, Jaffa Cake Gin is distilled with oranges, fresh orange peel, cocoa powder and real-life Jaffa Cakes for that tea-time treat taste and is built around a distinctive base of crisp juniper. Jaffa Cake Gin is delicious and is distilled with real Jaffa Cakes; but somehow, it’s not sweet; the 42 % ABV tipple boasts zesty orange and cocoa hinting at dark, rich chocolate on first smell and sip.
