Pollard eventually also decides the truth is more important than his family's good name. This is the final book of the Gallaghers series and it's a good wrap up. Darcy knows exactly what she wants in a man, chief of which is wealth. She is unashamedly materialistic and self-interested and knows what she wants and, more importantly, why—which has made Trevor Magee an obvious target since he showed up off-screen in book 1.
