About this deal

The olive blossom note results in creamy, almost buttery nuances, while the guaiac wood has an incense-sandalwood aspect.

On one hand, this makes it kind of mysterious, on the other, somewhat generic, and like a soup or cloud of notes, without structure. This is expressed in the fragrance's aromatic top notes and powerfully masculine base notes, with the heart now infused with an amplified sensitivity.Added to this is natural Cedar, creating an elegant structure with its wood and dry scent which blends with musks for a sensual appeal. Complaints on bad performance but I find I get about 6-7 hours on this fragrance, with strong projection in about the first 1-3 hours, before it dries down to a smooth vanilla and tonka. Because of how close this is to the skin, it's suitable for wearing any time of the day in my opinion. First of all, the performance of this fragrance does not suggest it is a perfume, it is more like an eau de parfum but not in any way a perfume. I didn’t “fall in love” with the first spray, nor have I ever been blown away by the genius of this scent - but we don’t always have to be blown away to like a scent.

Another point I wanted to make is that this is not redundant even if you have Armani Code EDP because the original doesn't have lavender which makes it a totally different scent. It might be the lemon and bergamot combo from both but they have a solid resemblance in a sense of Eau Fraiche being a summer version of Armani Code EDT. It's not a front-runner, but it's better than most other fragrances for an educated man on his way to the office in any business metropolis. If it was a sound, it would be very high treble, and compared to the recent orchestra on perfumes like Hugo Bottled Nights, Ombré leather and Creed cologne this is one I can’t enjoy anymore.Add a touch of YSL Opium Pour Homme to the scent profile, in large part due to the shared anise note. In conclusion, today's perfume is not worth the 70 euros , doesn't last even 30 mins , smells like a cheap cologne, copies with 7 euros smell more Armani code, no matter how much you spray from the 2022 bottle the scent disappears super fast and it doesn't even have the same scent as the original Armani and no i dont have fake bottle. Having said the I love the initial opening to AC and Profumo and Absolu have that same initial blast and it’s great! Until about close to 10+ hours later when I noticed that i had a faint scent when I got home amazingly and maybe by pure chance I got a good batch but the scent was firmly planted on my skin and smelled way better than the first handful of hours.

Opens with a boring, but good citrusy notes, but few minutes later, arrives the lovely star anise, combined with the smooth leather. I got a 2019 batch bottle (75ml) and was very plain to me, nothing special and even i couldn't notice the smell. Scent is fresh and citrusy, it smells like what you think summer on the beach smells like during winter, if that makes sense. Sure, it might have lost a bit of intensity, but it gained a more easygoing vibe, like Armani Code took a stroll on the beach and decided to lighten up.This might just be the best release of 2004, I am gutted they reformulated and placed it in a new bottle. Each iconic facet of the Armani Code signature scent is magnified in the new Armani Code Eau de Parfum. Everything else you just plunk it back on and unless you are particular you can put the cap any way you want after.
