The original version, last released 16 years ago, has been revamped and re-released from the team at Winning Moves, with the help of Tim Evans at Toys and Games of Worcester. The special event, which took place today (Saturday), also featured a special guest visit from Milburn Pennybags (Mr Monoply), who posed with guests. Own it all! Stephen Goode, the Worcester City Football Club chair, said the team would be signing their Monopoly boards and selling them to their fans.

I have been here for 50 years, so I am really pleased to get this done. I wouldn't live anywhere else apart from Worcester. We are really pleased with how we got this set together and it is a legacy moment for us as a business." Winning Moves has released a new, regional-based Monopoly exclusively with Toymaster member, Toys and Games of Worcester. Kieran McNamara, head of UK sales at Winning Moves, added: “We are delighted to continue our support for the independent toy channel by truly working together with retailers on both time to market and full exclusive opportunities. Tim and the team at Toymaster Toys and Games of Worcester have had a direct hand in how the product looks and is presented to both local residents and fans of this historic city, and we couldn’t be happier with how it has turned out.” The game launch was on Saturday 18th November, with the mayor, Worcester City FC, Worcester News and competition prize winners amongst the attendees.

One of the squares on the board is dedicated to Worcester City Football Club, which said they are honoured to be included.

Each year we’re asked for Monopoly: Worcester Edition, but last year there seemed to be a large increase in requests,” explained Tim Evans, owner of Toys and Games of Worcester. “The publicity, word of mouth and recognition the business gets from such a high profile product and launch in the Worcester area cannot be underestimated, especially at Christmas. It’s a legacy moment for us, and for what still is a small family business.”
