About this deal

I found this for very, very cheap and based on the reviews thought I would grab it to try and branch out of my comfort zone a bit. a romantic and "dark" that does not go unnoticed, you are enveloped by a hypnotic trail very powerful. The bottle, like the fragrance is unique and instantly reconizable as Ange ou Demon, the flankers (which are worth exploring) share the same bottle shape with a couple just being a bit squat. En esta ocasión lo compré porque a mi hija le encantó pero si fuese por mi, no hubiese hecho esta compra. I must stress that it absolutely does not smell like Sweet Like Candy - it just has that kind of vibe, that depth of sweetness.

In the upcoming cold days i will wear it more often - in the crispy air of the fall sweeter side of the fume will be more noticeable, vanilla will make it cosier, the spices will be somehow tamed. I love the opening but the drydown is overly cold and too sweet at the same time and it is not a conflict in a perfume I'd rather wear. I bought this perfume last year November, I want something dark, sexy and mysterious but it over whelmed me .

With two sprays I had the same longevity with a bit less projection, which may be preferable to a lot of people. PLEASE If you, random reader, are reading this post right now, listen to me carefuly, I just want the best for you. Kudos to reviewer FreshScentz below who references the Owens' sisters of Practical Magic (1998) as befitting this scent, and gives us a fantasy pyramid: "Top notes of silver saffron roses reflected in the full moon, heart notes of the trail of enticing vanilla fireflies, and base notes of damp cemetery oak moss, and the immensity of the 1000 year-old masonry of a bewitched gothic castle, deep in a dense forest.

She made decision based on her preferences as she wears Mugler Alien 24/7 and I could tell these perfumes are damn similar. Please note: in come countries, this fragrance is marketed under the name "Ange ou Etrange" ["Angel or Curious Case"]). It reminds me of Angel, which is instantly recognisable, but very overused, or was 5-ish years ago, BUT its more elegant and sophisticated. The first spray to me is, like with any other perfume, very intense and doesn't give me a lot other than "yep, this is perfume", I have to let it sit for just a minute to wait for the dry down. I was so intrigued by all the positive reviews here and elsewhere(and yes, I'll admit, the name too) that I blind bought Ange ou Demon. When I finally received it and took it out of the bottle, for a moment I was immediately regretful because the smell of the box was just funky and I feared this was what the fragrance smelled like. It is just so darn unique and beautiful, you really truly need to smell it to have an idea about just how beautiful it really is. I wear this perfume tonight, in one of the last warm nights of the fading summer, the wind blows and the scent flows around me, makes me feel like an oriental princess under cover.

The opening is original and very nice with that dry liquorish maraschino cherry vibe, then it mellows down into a syrupy vanilla with that little maraschino edge. The top notes in this one is white thyme, Italian mandarine and saffron while the heart contains the lily, maxillaria orchid and ylang-ylang. What I pick up the most (other than saffron) is what I usually love in a fragrance: Lily, Vanilla and tonka bean. The opening has a bitter medicinal smell, like orange cough syrup, but then it settles into the above. The vanilla and white musk notes do a wonderful job of elegantly balancing the incense smell such that it isn't overpowering or cloying.

Then it calms down a bit but changes completely turning into a lovely smooth scent of vanilla, orchid some oakmoss maybe ?

That makes it a very pleasant and delicious scent, very sweet, but with absolutely nothing of this one. Not a juvenile scent probabily 25 years plus it's not loud but not soft either she is a femme fatale she knows how to get what she wants.
