About this deal

And the Arya Stealth is indeed that; a stiffened and impactful bass response, a more neutral midrange coloration with a confident and more robust vocal delivery over the likes of the Ananda, and a lively but coherent treble. The clamping is just right also on the Arya Stealth. Not too much like the LCD-5 can get for my head and not too loose either that it hands uncomfortably on your ears. This is a song I’ve loved for years. It sounds better on the HD800S than I’ve ever heard it sound anywhere else, including the Arya. But this song sort of has a “bubble of sound” effect built in that is very synergistic with the 800. Years of research into planar driver optimization led HiFiMAN to utilize an asymmetrical design with smaller magnets on the ear-facing side. This reduces interference in sound wave transmissions from the diaphragm. Metal and High-Grade Plastic Construction At the end of the frequency spectrum, we get to the Air region or the Top End. This region consists of everything

When we first developed Stealth Magnets, I knew the design held tremendous value for the pro audio market. Our experience working and reworking the technology until we reached sonic perfection gave us the ability to adapt many of the same technical features in a headphone that is accessible to a wider audience of music lovers." All products sold on Headphone Zone carry a GST compliant invoice and all products sold include an 18% GST. However, in exchange placement definition is improved twofold and the aura around each component within recordings seems smaller, sharply painted, and better contained allowing the listener to easily pinpoint those recording components. After the Upper Midrange, we’ve got the Treble region between 6kHz and 8 kHz, and this is where things start toThat means higher pitching notes have a slightly bright overtone but that never seems to translate to an overly thin or sibilant quality through the raised upper mids. Synergy with sources both in terms of tonal bias and output power can calm it down or amplify it. Timbre Overall, the midrange area seemed well balanced with lots of micro-nuanced compliments in listening tests and certainly produced a pleasant, listenable tonality. Treble

I was mentioning the predecessor a few times in the review and I think many of you are really interested in this comparison. Moreover, I would like to answer one very important question - is it worth changing from Arya Stealth Edition to Arya Organic, or maybe the older ones are better? Come late 2021, HIFIMAN refreshed the Arya with the new Stealth Magnet Edition or the Arya Stealth Magnet Version officially. This is but one of a wide range of HIFIMAN headphones being revised with their new stealth magnet technology. Louis’s review of the Edition XS Stealth Edition a few weeks ago is one such example. The star of the show when it comes to the HIFIMAN Arya lineup is usually the midrange and the large panorama they can paint for the listener but the Arya Organic takes a different approach in this region. It’s still a very spacious sound, with floaty imaging and great separation. There is a lot of air showcased in between each individual element, which helps bring out the layers into a more dimensional headspace. The wrap-around goes beyond stereo limits, but the imaging is just brought into a tighter space than in past iterations. However, the width still establishes a great scope, helped by the height of the imaging. Everything about it is still distinctly within HiFiMAN’s usual presentation, just with a few tweaks that bring in subtle changes. Low End

Build Quality and Comfort

Somehow I feel that something is not getting through here. Here we have a mid-tier headphone that is not a budget model but it comes with one cable assembly. And, though not bad in quality and improved in that aspect over past cable assemblies, doesn’t match this headphone tier level. get harsh. This region is where we have brittleness from instruments like the Hi-Hats and Cymbals. This is also a HiFiMAN’s top-of-the-line headphones are all quite similar in terms of design, once we exclude the Susvara: they’re all drop-shaped and quite large, so that they can house larger diaphragms. The Arya make no exception to this and feature large earcups with a suspended headband design. Overall HiFiMAN Arya Organic is a well-built headphone that is pleasant to keep on the head for hours and additionally, it looks pretty good. The company pretty much mastered the perfect blend of sturdy build quality and incapable comfort, and the Arya Organic is basically as good as it gets in this regard. This is by no means the most luxurious pair you'll ever feel, but it might just be the most comfortable one, and this is what really matters.

However, the Arya Stealth is the first revision of the original Arya out since 2019 and ties into the Stealth technology revamp in most of their headphones currently on the market. It is simply impossible that you have not heard of Hifiman. They are China-based personal audio company led by Dr. Fang Bian and they have been around for easily 10 to 15 years. The Arya are similar in style to the Ananda when it comes to the drop-shaped earcups, but they’re quite different in the rest of the build. The headband is the same as that on headphones like the first-generation HE-560, while the gimbals are similar to those while being longer to accommodate the larger earcups. In terms of materials, the Arya are made of plastic and metal: the gimbals and headband are metal, while the earcups are plastic with a semi-glossy finish. NsD stands for NEO “superman” diaphragm and whilst not something new to the Arya Stealth or the original it does seem to be almost the defacto driver diaphragm construction now for HIFIMAN.Th I have not tested a single hifiman product that could reproduce an authentic sound of an double bass for example. How can so many headphones from one company fail at an simple instrument? HiFiMAN Arya vs HiFiMAN Ananda: the Ananda and the Arya are somewhat similar, but the differences are enough to justify saying that they’re also quite different. The Arya have better bass extension as well as better layering and detail, plus they also have more bass in general; speed is better on the Arya as well, while physicality is comparable. Midrange is much brighter on the Ananda, where it has less presence in the lower region as well as more in the upper one – save for the peak in the upmost region of the Arya, where it is in fact brighter than the Ananda’s. Detail is slightly better on the Arya, which also has the upper hand when it comes to speed. Apart from the peak in the lower area on the Arya, the Ananda have more emphasised treble, although extension appears to be better on the Arya which also have better resolution. All technical aspects – soundstage, imaging and especially instrument separation – are better on the Arya. Thanks for your comment. I look forward to trying out the “stealth magnets” version as I’ve ready good things about it. I don’t know when that will happen, though I hope it’s going to be soon! snare. Lots of the low-end vocals as well, because male vocals are going to have the fundamental below 200Hz in
