The Upper Moon 1 Kokushibo utilizes a unique breathing technique known as “Breath of The Moon.” The color of his sword is purple. In Japan, purple symbolizes royalty. Flesh Manipulation: Like all demons, Kokushibo possesses the ability to manipulate his flesh. He used this ability to grant himself multiple eyes that augment his vision to supernatural levels. He has also used this ability to create an extremely durable and sharp katana, complete with a handguard and scabbard. Because of this, his katana can never be destroyed as he can regenerate it like he would with normal wounds.
The Demon Slayer Corps’ Stone Support is a gray sword that symbolizes stone. Stone’s symbol politely emulates Gyomei’s robust and powerful personality. While Gyomei is a soft and serene massive man, he is the threat of his existence. While he’s quiet and emotionally, he’s an active and powerful demon slayer in the current. Muichiro's surname contains the Kun'yomi reading of the kanji for "time" ( 時 ( とき ) , toki ?) and the Kan-on'yomi for "transparent, permeate" ( 透 ( とう ) , tō ?). His first name contains the Go-on'yomi for "nothingness" ( 無 ( む ) , mu ?), "one" ( 一 ( いち ) , ichi ?) and "son" ( 郎 ( ろう ) , rō ?).To himself) " I'll do it. I'm gonna do it. I have to do it. Immense Regeneration: Kokushibo possesses one of the most powerful regenerative abilities in existence, second only to the Demon King, Muzan Kibutsuji. His regeneration speed is even faster than Akaza and Doma, regrowing his ear [29] and right shoulder [30] effortlessly. After being decapitated by two marked Hashira, Kokushibo is able to regenerate his entire head and successfully conquered death from a decapitation via Nichirin Swords, [31] a feat considered impossible for demons and only accomplished by two other demons: Akaza and the Demon King himself. [32] However, while the speed at which he regrew his head was far faster than the former, his regeneration after being decapitated became unstable, causing him to take on a monstrous visage. [31] Kokushibo is reserved, silent, and aloof, maintaining an aura of unnerving tranquility and mystery that compliments his position as Upper Rank One. He rarely speaks; when he does, he talks in a slow and emphatic manner that gives more gravitas and authority to his words. He was an adamant rule-follower, punctual, and he showed a great deal of respect to the hierarchy of the Twelve Kizuki - as seen at the Upper Ranks Gathering. [2] Kokushibo was portrayed to be humble as well, and he did not hesitate to admit his failure or complain of any difficulty. He displayed a strong sense of loyalty towards Muzan Kibutsuji, with most of his actions being done with the sole purpose of fulfilling Muzan's goals. The sword Michikatsu wears in his new form as Kokushibo, also known as Upper Moon One, is an extension of his own and refined to use his talents and the “new” Demon Blood arts. Third Form: Loathsome Moon, Chains ( 参 ( さん ) ノ 型 ( かた ) 厭 ( えん ) 忌 ( き ) 月 ( づき ) ・ 銷 ( つが ) り , San no kata: Enkidzuki - Tsugari ?)
