It's been a couple years since I've actually bought a movie either physical or digital, but I thought digital was still cheaper than physical.

I guess they will pump the money into a new game based on the film and a new film so they can maximize profits! If there's a film I really want to watch multiple times and any time I want, physical is the way to go. Cast: Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Seth Rogen, Keegan-Michael Key, Fred Armisen, Sebastian Maniscalco, Charles Martinet, Kevin Michael Richardson. This being said, we will be keeping an eye out for the official word on the release following the film's premiere where hopefully we will get a slightly better idea of what special features the disk format will offer. The extras are rather weak since it'll just be rehashed stuff they've all said in the countless promotional interviews they did for the film I'm sure.The movie isn't going to generate more than 100-200 million extra [give or take] in the rest of its time at the box office either way, if you follow the graphs, so it's probably a smart move on their part to get some extra cash from home rentals while it's still hot at the box office and before they finally release the physical versions and then put it on streaming services eventually. Of course a slight wobble and jerky can be added by the movement of the 24 images per second through a mechanism as well. Considering that the movie is still breaking records at the cinema, I thought that they would have kept the focus there for a while longer?

Thats an expensive way to do something entirely possible to do digitally (like I said, its very common for me to be asked to do this nowadays, to give the aesthetic to digital films) but it would have meant the few occasions you'd see them actually being projected, they would have looked how the director/editors intended.Salazar’s Revenge looks great in 4K, the other ones look and sound much better on standard 1080p Blu-ray, except On Stranger Tides, which looks outright amazing in Blu-ray 3D). There is one 35mm cinema near where I used to live and one conveniently next to a train station, and it is much cheaper than digital cinemas. For example, someone may stream or download a new movie every day, but every few months they'll discover a new "favourite movie" that they rave about to their friends and want to show to other people and just feel like they will want to watch it over and over. Disney’s doing everything backwards, putting their movies on Disney+ a few months after theatre, releasing the blu-ray at a later date.
