About this deal

The controversial and unusual campaigncame at a difficult time for the brewing industry, with a number of breweries sadly closing their doors in the past year. However,we'recommitted to supporting causes close to the hearts of our team and customers. Each of our flagship beers features a stream-of-consciousness style canvas, delving into the character, the story and personality - fictional, abstract and intertwined with the liquid inside. You actually only get a small sense of the scale of this from the can itself, so like others in the range, you’ll see this start to expand into various crops for special releases over time. We’ll be putting together the perfect selection of beers and some Lumina exclusives to help, including planispheres that we’ve crafted ourselves - guided of course by astrophysicist advice. Ales are darker and fuller-bodied than lagers, as well as being more robust, complex and bitter, with hints of fruit or spice and a hoppy finish. There are many types, including bitter, mild, pale ale, abbey ale and nut brown. Ales have more individual characteristics than lager, though their alcoholic strength is similar. IPA We’re perhaps best known for the more creative and boundary pushing brewing, working with producers of all shapes and sizes, experts in their fields who can bring the same passion for ingredients, whatever that may be, as we have for beer. But experimenting aside, we’re also big proponents of the concept of core beers.”

As previously hinted, we’re celebrating Lumina with some very special bundles on the online store. In fact, one of them is so special there are only 5 available! This is a refreshing, crisp and light yellow lager with a bitter, hoppy flavour. Pilsner originated in the Czech Republic and tends to be light in colour, ranging from light straw to golden, with strong hoppy, spicy and floral flavours. Some of the most iconic beers derive from the pilsner style, including Budweiser. Wheat beer One of our favourite things about Lumina is the fact that it is Gluten Free. It was a decision we made early on, so that Lumina wasn't just Vegan friendly, but also available for Coeliacs or those with a Gluten intolerance. Whilst we do brew it with wheat and oats, for a luscious mouthfeel, we use an enzyme to break down the gluten.

Amber Ale with a complex grain bill bringing bready malt flavour with hints of dark caramel, honey and rye spice, combined with a West Coast US hop character, as Simcoe and Amarillo hops provide bright stone fruit and orange citrus notes. The combination of classic and new waveHops give JIMBO aromas of mixed berries, crisp apple, yet all balanced with a well-rounded nutty bitter finish. For that reason, Lumina has been a long time in the making. We’ve been brewing a pale ale series called Suspended in... for some time, working on hundreds of different combinations of malts and hops, taking notes on how they play together. Earlier this year, Lumina then took a life of its own under the guise of Refractions. Even then, tweaks were being made to each recipe to really hone what this beer is about.

We’re massive fans of The White Hag, and they were top of the list to work with here as they so kindly invited us to be a part of Boxstravaganza previously, not to mention Hagstravaganza being one of our favourite festivals. This brown ale is inspired by a certain biscuit that takes its name from BIScuit and COFFee - which is exactly what you can expect when drinking it. There’s nuttiness, spices, delicate nuance of Amburana wood, a touch of coffee and plenty of rich, dark caramelisation. Above all though, it’s highly drinkable and very moreish. The JSESSIONID cookie is used by New Relic to store a session identifier so that New Relic can monitor session counts for an application. Lumina joins a whole host of other IPAs Siren makes, including Sound Wave IPA, Futurist (another gluten-free IPA that is in our best gluten-free beers list) and its brut IPA, On The Bubble. Easy drinking smooth golden ale with sweet citrus nose. Palate is of grapefruit, biscuit and tropical fruit fading in the finish with initial earthy and spicy hops becoming bitter and slightly dry. Later in 2020, and with recipe, name, design and everything else set, we were heading towards our launch date of June 19th.A copper coloured, aromatic beer brewed as a traditional American IPA made with pale crystal malts and Cascade and Centennial American hops for a modern, citrusy finish. Since our conception, having a flagship range has been at the core of our output and a hugely important part of our identity. It’s well known that ‘Maiden’ was our first ever brew, but did you know that the 2nd brew was Broken Dream, and the 3rd was Liquid Mistress. Lumina helps to prove that it's definitely not the same for beer. In fact, when launched we provided bars with the option of kegs badges - one that said "Gluten Free Session IPA" and one that said "Session IPA". Some people were deterred by the GF classification.

It pours with a beautiful glowing haze, quietly glistening in the surrounding light. A tropical fruit salad of aromas immediately emanates from the glass thanks to a supermassive dry-hop. Azacca brings a punchiness and a touch of pine, Mosaic offers tropical mango and guava, Ekuanot with pineapple notes and all of this balanced by Hallertau Blanc, with trademark white grape and mandarin. Siren Craft Brew has meticulously selected only the very best ingredients to ensure Lumina offers optimum flavour. Please find a breakdown of these below: Kentish Pale brewed for Bexley Brewery's pub and taproom 'Bird & Barrel'. Light Amber Pale, brewed with locally grown Kent hops. Some of you may remember 2020: it was a pretty big year. With the pandemic closing pubs and bars we didn't really have an outlet for launching a brand new flagship beer. As difficult as it was to see so many of our friend's businesses closed indefinitely, we had to push forward.

Remote Areas - Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and The Scilly Isles

In theyears since we launched Lumina, the beer has become our best selling and probably most requested, most well known beer. At the time of writing (August 2023) we have sold just shy of 100,000 cans via our webshop making it our best selling beer, outselling Broken Dream and and Yu Lu combined! We thank every single bar, club, pub, venue and each and every one of you for grabbing a Lumina. Gluten Free

What a treat to get Pastel Pils into some new hands this year. This lager is low-key becoming a core range product for us. It was originally inspired by Italian-style pilsners, so it has some sweetness in the base, all noble hops, subtle bitterness and a really great pop of aroma. A massive bonus with this beer is that it’s also gluten-free. The Enzyme we use breaks down the gluten to a point where it’s suitable for people with intolerances to Gluten, along with coeliacs, but without sacrificing anything in terms of flavour, body or aroma ( Don’t forget, Lumina, our flagship Session IPA, is also gluten free).A lot of people might hear "Gluten Free" and think of things like Gluten Free bread. Whilst there's some really good GF bread available, in general it can be a bit of a let down compared to "standard" bread. Beyond the numbers, it’s a journey through Siren past and present. The team at Ferment have put together a beautiful accompanying magazine, rich with behind the scenes access and interviews with collaborating breweries. The collaborations extend beyond the beer, with our design direction also coming from those breweries, which we think look incredible all together. We’ve been able to work with old friends (including ex-Head Brewers), new acquaintances and a couple of breweries who for some reason we’ve never worked with before, but found the perfect excuse here. For some time we'd been brewing a series of Hazy Pale Ales on a regular basis, which were enjoyed in keg and cask formats only. the 'Suspended in...' series focussed on a different hop for each brew. These beers were the perfect vehicle to experiment with a variety of hops and their impacts on a lower ABV beer. Refractions Siren Craft Brew is a trailblazer in the drinks industry. Based in Finchampstead, Berkshire, the brand is on a mission to introduce modern and flavour-forward beers for everyone to adore.
