About this deal

Perfect for golfing enthusiasts or amateurs who struggle to finish their 18 holes within daylight hours! Your controller will have done enough heat cycles by now for this to be a likely occurance - see if you can borrow another as fitting a replacement is dead easy. well a couple of days ago my sister told me a reversing light was 'out' and when I was changing that I noted that the connectors/bulbs etc all needed cleaning/looking at so I guessed that there was another issue in that area. Golf Simulator Forum is the center point for discussion on golf simulator products, brands, manufacturers, launch monitors and everything else related to golf simulation. Prior to that, I was driving it every day for my work commute which averages 200 miles round trip and had no problems.

Sometimes the red light indicates it needs 're-syncing', but I'm assuming you can open the car and drive normally anyway, which might mean that's a useless path to look at. There is a little microswitch inside the gear selector unit that tells it when its in park - this commonly fails by intermittently sticking and results in the symptoms you are having. When I took it down the street and out of my wifi range, then the reset button worked as it was supposed to. This is my second winter on the tune and have had no issues other than this GPL flashing which I noticed today.Since leaving the garage and Close to home it started doing the dodgy can't pull away in first thing. Bingo, but I can't comment as to what gear it was in when I pulled off the highway once I realized that I couldn't shift up. It barely had a mm of carbon deposit, hardly anything for a car nearly 4 years old (I read somewhere 2-3 mm is acceptable). It turned out (after changing bulbs, brake pedal switch, cleaning connections, checking cables) that the power control unit underneath the dash causing the light. I don't believe it's a tune issue as this problem (I assume) would have manifested itself a long time ago.

The car drives fine but when i turn off the engine and close the doors after a few mins the hazards continue to flash and will only go out when i start the engine. To my understanding, the flashing glow plug is an engine management warning, which can indicate a whole range of things. I get the same problem every now and then, I believe there is a relay on top of the fuse box can remember if it's 43 or 57 in my picture, if you unplug it and clean up the connections, refit and see if that helps? So it turns that when I move near to the car the red LEDs on the fobs flash (the nearer I get the quicker they flash) then when I move away from the car they flash slower then stop when I’m about 20feet away.In fact this new DSG Service program will replace over 50,000 faulty Mechatronic Module Units in both the USA and Canada. My first thought at that point would be "tune issue" ie software malfunction or hardware fault (your ECU was opened, yes? I thought that diagnosis only applied to older TDIs but at this point I've got nothing to lose by checking. I also pulled the plug off and bridged the two terminals to see if it stopped the flashing - it didn't.
