This is a very interesting scent, coming as it does in the mid-1970s, as it belongs more in the late 1940s-early 1950s. If you know any perfume that smells like it, please add your vote or just upvote the existing fragrance. My mum used to use Propert’s saddle soap on our old leather furniture and that was a beautiful scent…great tin, too.
You can smell them often as soon as you apply the fragrance and their scent lingers around you and changes as time goes on. OB frequently does that soapy thing on me, and I’m certain I wouldn’t enjoy soapy saddles on my wrist. Multifloral top that peeled back to reveal leather and woods but kept the flroal dancing along the edges forever.It encapsulates everything about that time period and will have you feeling as though you are lying by the beach in the 1970s.
