Water-based activities are dangerous. Make sure you’re extra careful, and always act safely within your own experience level and physical limitations. Camping, or staying in a cabin at Devil’s Den might be an excellent option. Especially if photography is important to you, being at the facility before opening time might give you the best chance of getting a great shot. In my opinion this is a huge turn-off. I really dislike making reservations, especially for something like a natural spring. Upon entering the property, you must complete an insurance liability waiver and be 18 to sign for yourself. Devil's Den is formed by a karst window, in which the roof over a subterranean river has collapsed, exposing the water to the open surface, near Williston, Florida. It is privately owned, and operated as a SCUBA diving training and recreational facility. Cave diving reports describe the caves inside Devil’s Den to be tight, low-flow and high in sediment, which make for exceptionally dangerous cave diving conditions.
