The NERF Fortnite AR-L is a semi-automatic, motorized blaster modelled on the legendary skinned Fortnite AR. If the canary yellow color style doesn’t quite do it for you there are a few choices available (our favorite being the Durrr-Burger). The NERF Ultra Select is the the first full-automatic ULTRA NERF gun– combining the phenomenal firing distance of the Ultra series with the max-terror only inspired by full-auto carnage. The Ultra line has come a long way after all its initial faults. It’s like modern-day video game releases; there were plenty of bugs and issues at the beginning, and things took a long time to get patched. For those using Pro blasters or standard darts (and let’s be honest, why would you use any full-lengths besides waffle tips and their relatives?), blasters like the Ultra Strike ultimately won’t matter. Judged by its own merits, though, the Ultra Strike is one of, if not the best, Ultra blasters out there. If only cheap, accurate ammo was more accessible.

One of the main attractions of the MEGA Mastodon is its massive dart capacity. Thanks to the inclusion of a 24-dart rotating drum, the Mastodon is one of the highest capacity guns on the market. To start blasting, simply load the clip into the underside of the Speed, hold down the acceleration button to power up the motor, and pull the trigger to fire. The Speed features a drop down grip just under the muzzle to help you keep a steady aim and there is even an integrated iron sights on top to help you place those tough shots. Nerf Rival changes the game, using balls instead of darts to have a faster shot speed and a bigger impact when combat rolls around. As a semi-auto you’ll need to pull the trigger for each shot but as an eagle-eyed gunslinger, you don’t need hundreds of darts to defeat your enemies, do you? Every once and while Hasbro comes up with some game changing Tech to turn your blasting game on it’s head. Not only is the NERF N-Strike Elite Infinus an impressive blaster (more on that later) but it features revolutionary “ Speed-Load Technology” which means you can keep feeding the blaster darts without the need to remove the included 30-dart drum to reload. If you hate having to stop the game to reload then this is definitely a blaster to consider. The rev trigger is adequate, if small, and the main trigger pull is very smooth. The magazine release sits in the same area, though, so those with large fingers may find the trigger area quite cramped. For those serious about Nerf wars, the Nerf Elite line is king.
