Split recordings (normally movies in 2 parts) now show the time after the date so the first part can be easily identified. By the way I hadn't noticed but while recording two programs you can watch a previously recorded program at the same time.

This varies enormously, particularly so when recording a number of HD recordings, whilst watching another HD recording.
