Use almond extract – I LOVE these bars made with almond extract. Try it if you are a fan of that flavor. If you wish to use fresh raspberries, you will need 2 pints (equal to 2 cups). You will want to add them after adding the ice in the directions so as not to let the berries lose their shape too much in the boiling water. Frozen raspberries are readily available all year round, in your grocery freezer section; this is why I like to use them in this recipe. It’s also a good idea to run the tip of a sharp knife around the edge of the cheesecake, to loosen the sides. Once the ice cream has frozen in the machine, it should be soft serve consistency. If there is room in your ice cream maker, stir the Oreos in, if not, then you will have to transfer to another large bowl to stir in the Oreos.

How to freeze raspberry swirl bars? Once the bars are fully chilled in the fridge, add them to freezer bags or vacuum seal them to avoid freezer burn. Store for 3-5 months. Mix together the pudding mixture and the cream cheese mixture until completely combined and smooth. School starts for us this week so summer is officially over! It’s really important that you add the eggs one at a time, scraping after each addition. This will prevent lumps! The pudding will not set with dairy-free or lactose-free milk. Make sure you are using regular milk in this recipe. Then top the pan with a plate or a cardboard cake round, and flip it over to release the cheesecake. You might need to give it a little shimmy-shake.
