About this deal

It excels at cleaning pet hair and deep, stubborn pet messes. Also, though, is an excellent filtration system that traps 99.99% of particles .3 microns or over. The HEPA filter does its job with the body specially sealed to make sure that no dust-filled air can evade the filter. My frugal brain doesn’t particularly like bagged vacuums, having to buy a top-up so you can keep vacuuming is just a pain. This is one of the best all-around cylinder vacuums on the market. It comes highly recommended even if you don’t have pet allergies. Or even pets for that matter! If you do have allergies, then this should be on your shortlist as you research.

The HZ series is built for industries where dust could be hazardous to health. These models have a HEPA filter, additional pre-filter and use Hepaflo bags, allowing cleaners to vacuum and empty the machine safely. Good on hardwood floors and carpets thanks to the adjustable power settings, and it’s got a 2-year guarantee but has been tested for the equivalent of 20 years use! The Henry Allergy vacuum cleaner is compact and powerful. It comes with all of the standard tools that you would expect...Plus HEPA filtration to eliminate airbound dust particles.Though I wouldn’t recommend it for anybody with very serious allergies, for somebody with sensitivity to dust or dust mites, then this is enough to keep your house free from allergens. In all, it is a good value vacuum for allergies. The cleaner also comes with a bunch of tools and add-ons: including smaller brushes, a thin crevice tool and different sized steel tubes. There’s no supplied bag or space in/around Henry to put them, though. Regardless, they’re a tight fit, without the need for suction clips or the like, and didn’t slip off during testing. Henry Hoover review: Verdict If you have a big home, messy occupants, or want to save time, this is the Henry model to go for in our opinion. Its design features will keep you cleaning without pause, and it’ll cope admirably with all the dust, debris, and fur you need to remove from your home or car. In our review Lindsey gave it top marks for cleaning power and versatility, but bear in mind that it's heavy to lug up the stairs. Sometimes, these cheap, ultra-budget items seem like they just couldn’t possibly work well. This smart little hoover is proof that you can buy quality products on a budget.

Our reviewer did find this vacuum a little more difficult to push around than the other Henry vacuums she tested, something she put down to the intensity of the suction power. Henry the Hoover has become a mainstay in British households since his introduction in the early 1980s, meaning the original Henry Hoover has now been cleaning UK households and workplaces for more than fourty years. Famed for this smiling face and red colour, Henry has become a firm favourite and a vacuum of choice. Aside from the motor and EcoBrush, the Henry Eco has similar features to many Henry vacuums. These include a six-litre capacity, bagged design, and a wide cleaning radius. It also comes with Numatic’s standard combi head for carpets and hard floors. The way the nozzle fits in can lead it to topple over if you’re not paying attention as you’re dragging it along but this isn’t uncommon for this style of vacuum cleaner. A thing to note is that this vacuum cleaner may not be suitable if you want an appliance to vacuum your home and car. It is a bulky vacuum cleaner and, again, it is corded so unless you have a driveway or a guaranteed parking space outside your home, the Henry Pet may not be the vacuum cleaner for you.

Unstoppable Cleaning, Built to Last

Make sure you replace bags when they’re full or if you vacuumed up something that smells less than pleasant. Here are a few items you should look for when determining if the vacuum you are considering will indeed help out with your allergies.

The HEPA filter can trap particles and also, the body is sealed well. Earning it an A rating for dust re-emissions. Of course, as is the case with so many of these bagless vacuums, the canister will cause a small dust cloud when you empty it. If you're looking for a bagged cylinder vac to take care of pet hair on a budget, then the Henry Pet won't disappoint. After using this vacuum for a number of weeks, Jen was sure that this could easily become her family vac, and loved the simplicity of cleanly disposing of the dust bag rather than being met by a cloud of debris when it came to emptying the tank. A good bagged, canister vacuum can be hard to find, especially if you don't want to spend a fortune, and the 10-metre cleaning range and attachments definitely go far enough here to make this vac worth your while. The head of the family, Henry is certainly the most well known cleaner from the range. First introduced in 1981, Henry’s smiling face has been helping people to clean their homes ever since. Traditionalists will tell you this is the best Henry you can get, and if you’re looking for a reliable and affordable vacuum it’s hard to argue with this view. There’s actually two main models of this Henry, the Henry Hoover 160-11 and the Henry Hoover 200-11. The main difference between the two is the 160-11 has a bag capacity of six litres, whilst the 200-11 has a larger capacity at 9 litres. The HVR200-11 uses 620W of power, making it one of the more energy efficient models on the market. The motor also provides excellent suction and is highly durable, while the large 9 litre capacity means you won’t need to empty it often. Other features include TriTex filters, HepaFlo bags and a cord-rewind system.

George

It’s also quiet for a vacuum cleaner which is great for a house with pets in it, it’s 66bd which is quieter than a dishwasher which typically runs at 70db. But louder than normal speech which is about 60db. So it still sounds like a vacuum but it doesn’t sound like a jet is taking off in your living room.
