Although we knew she has aged and lately she was not keeping well, the news of her passing away has made us so sad that it is indeed difficult to take it on. Thank you ma'am, for dedicating your life to serving all of us. You were the epitome of a strong woman, loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. You will be missed so much. Watching her thoroughbreds pass the post was another great pleasure, and her love of horse racing once subconsciously manifested itself during the 2003 state opening of parliament when she announced details of a national hunt service bill, rather than “health service”.
