Zwar gibt es ein schönes Ende und sogar einen Zeitsprung, der das Leben der Nachkommen der Dämonenjäger zeigt, aber hier hätte ich mir mehr als nur zwei Kapitel gewünscht. Manche von ihnen sind Dämonen geworden, um dem Tod durch eine Krankheit zu entkommen, andere, um einen geliebten Menschen zu retten. But settled for 4 for because despite this being a satisfying story neatly wrapped up in a reasonable amount of volumes it was clearly rushed toward the end. I got into Demon Slayer from watching the anime because of the hype I heard around it, then my partner bought the manga when it was on sale because we were both obsessed with the anime and couldn’t wait any longer.

Overall I enjoyed this purchase not only for the enjoyment of the series but also for the impressive artwork so a lot of appreciation for the creator of the show Koyoharu Gotouge hard work and dedication. Starting as always from the negative I would remark the main aspect of the story: the empathy for everyone that is embodied by Tanjiro. many people die in this manga but the way it shows their happiness after they die really made me cry and happy for them. Gleiches gilt für die menschlichen Charaktere, obwohl einige von ihnen meiner Meinung nach mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient hätten. The only few negatives I have are for this set is for one the corner's of the box to hold the set of books are slightly damaged. Begleitet wird er von Nezuko, die aber selbst erst einmal eine kleine Entwicklung durchmacht, bis sie Tanjiro im Kampf unterstützen kann.

I only started reading it after the entertainment district season aired and I didn't know what to do with the rest of my life lol. It all make sense and if you like fantasy, dark fairy tale mixed with Japan way of telling stories, you owe yourself a favour of reading this. Since "Demon Slayer" is a shorter series and only came in one set I bought it because it's all there. I appreciated the epilogue a lot, the ending got messy, but then the epilogue rescued what the story was about for me and gave a sense of closure and well deserved peace they all needed.

When I read something I always ask myself if there is something in this book or manga that I don't like before writing a review but I don't find a single point I did not like about this manga. It's one of the best adaptations of manga I've ever seen, super faithful to the source material and adds a ton of colourful elements to it.
