About this deal

Teeth: Just like humans, a Dalmatian's teeth will need regular brushing to prevent decay and bad breath. I received editorial review samples from manufacturers with the exception of Millers Forge, Chris Christensen, and ConairPro brushes, which Insider purchased.

My advice would be to pair this brush with the Percute double-sided brush and use it for day to day grooming and even during bath times for shampooing. Pin brushes tend to have stainless steel bristles, which means they’re really only needed for staffies with huge matted fur issues. The Furminator's ergonomic handle offered a comfortable grip, and the release button made it easy to collect hair from the tool and continue deshedding.Because of this, two of the best recommended brushes are the Kong Zoom Groom Firm Dog Blue and the WeCare Pet Grooming Glove and Shedding Mitt. Four Paws Magic Coat Dual-Purpose Curry Brush: A nice curry brush (although I can't really attest to its purported antimicrobial properties), but it didn't perform as well as the Bodhi or Furbliss brushes. JW Pet Gripsoft Double-Sided Brush: A very nice brush and close runner-up to the Hartz Groomer's Best Combo Dog Brush, which felt sturdier and performed slightly better.

However, this would be a good choice if you only wanted to purchase one tool that is both an everyday brush and a dematting tool. Even though staffies are short-haired dogs, they do still shed their fur, especially as the warmer months approach.Otherwise, you can’t go wrong with this glove and I’m sure your staffy would be very pleased with it too. I would recommend you use these brushes between the more extended grooming sessions with a regular pin or bristle brush. While a "beard" trim seems simple and easy, it can just as easily look off-balance if not done properly. To use a curry comb, you want to make sure the teeth of the curry are not sharp, which is why I never use a metal curry on my horses. I actually made a video showing you how to wash your horse brushes, in case you are more of a visual learner.
