About this deal

Perhaps the most important feature of a wireless thermometer is its wireless range and how it connects. After all, if you’re buying a wireless thermometer, it’s likely because you don’t want to be glued to the grill for the duration of your cook—no matter how short or long. The range can vary widely among devices, from around 100 feet to more than 300 feet. Keep in mind, too, that a device’s range is variable depending on whether it’s indoors or outdoors because walls and structures can weaken a signal. Inkbird is a rather large company that produces a lot of temperature measuring devices from thermostats and humidity controllers to thermometers and sous vide devices. For tech-lovers who are into grilling, this sleek thermometer gives you plenty of control through an app on your smartphone. It is equipped with four probes that can be individually monitored through your phone, making it easy to cook multiple cuts of meats at once. It has an array of presets that you can use depending on what type of meat you're cooking, as well as the ability to customize settings as you wish. Alarms can be seen at both the main controller unit and on the smartphone app, so you should never miss an important event with your cooks.

The main appeal of this thermometer for most owners seems to be a mic of the price, reliability, and longevity. People have owned this thermometer for years, use it regularly, and it keeps going on strong. I have had mine since mid-2021, it still works perfectly, but I have only used it a handful of times. Oxo’s Good Grips range is known for its practical, straightforward products, and this manual meat thermometer is no exception. Created for in-oven cooking without a trailing wire, we found it was effortless to use. There’s a shaded area to show you how far the probe needs to go in, a dial that’s clear and easy to read without opening the oven, and a recommended temperature chart printed on the thermometer’s cover. Both Celsius and Fahrenheit are shown on the dial, as are markers for different meats. This is on par with the TP-25 and two to three times farther than the other Bluetooth meat thermometers on this list. Mobile App

The Signals thermometer includes four probes—three are high-temperature cooking probes and the fourth is for measuring air temperature inside the grill or other cooking chamber. The app allows remote monitoring of the temperatures using both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, so there are no worries about getting out of range of the base. It recharges via a USB cable/power plug and can run while it's plugged in, which is great if there's a very long cook. The TP-25 is thoughtfully designed with color-coordinated probes that match up with specific ports on the thermometer body.

If you want actual wireless, this is not only the best wireless Bluetooth thermometer, it is in fact the only genuine one on the market. This app controlled wireless thermometer brings smart tech to your Sunday roast. This is definitely the most advanced cooking thermometer out there, but it’s the most expensive, too. The 12.5cm-long probe is to be left in your meat as it cooks. It syncs with a smartphone app to advise the chef on cooking time, resting time and more. It even offers a 50 metre range so, while your dinner is cooking, you can go elsewhere in your house – the app will notify you when dinner is ready. The control unit is able to measure temperatures from -94 °F to 752 °F (-70 °C to 400 °C), which more than covers the upper and lower temperatures that the probes can work to.The ThermoPro TP-25 in the middle has an attached stand, I propped up the Tenergy Solis on the left, the Inkbird on the right has no stand either, the Lavatools Carbon Lite in front comes with a stand and is magnetic. The Best Bluetooth Meat Thermometers This shows the Signals is incredibly accurate, better than advertised, can be trusted, and is data you can rely on. The app has many built-in presets for grilling meat, poultry, and fish. For example, you select “BEEF” from the preset on your phone. You’ll get a drop-down list of rare, medium-rare, etc. Just choose the doneness you want and hit save.

All in all, this a real gem of a thermometer. It provides accuracy and reliability, in a rugged base unti, with a large and clear display, that has easy-to-use labeled buttons. I’ve been able to get a signal through multiple walls up to about 80 feet. This should be far enough for most cooking scenarios. Mobile App The TP-25 features newer Bluetooth 5.0 technology. It has a reported line-of-sight range of 495 feet. This doesn’t account for obstacles like walls, trees, your neighbor’s horse, and his house too. Why I jumped on the chance to buy is because I occasionally use a rotisserie. Of course, wire on a spinning spit is never going to work, so I loved the idea of a genuinely wireless thermometer. So, although by far not the most accurate thermometer on this list, it does perform within the manufacturer’s advertised range of accuracy and is good enough for most purposes. The display on the unit is large at 1.88 x 3.97 inches. It is easy to read and shows the temperature of all four possible probes simultaneously, their high and low temperature settings, as well as any alarms you may have set. Each channel can be given a name if desired, perhaps of the cut of meat you are cooking. The attached wire stand can also be flipped over to hang the thermometer. Highlights of the ThermoPro TP-25
