About this deal

In our fabric stain remover tests we found meat tenderiser powder to be the most effective product for removing bloodstains. We also found one stain remover that did a good job of getting rid of bloodstains from clothing. The cans are only 100 millilitres each, which makes them pricey to buy in bulk, but it does not require much of the product to have a substantial, visible effect on stains.

SAFETY DATA SHEET

Top tip: For extra stain removal power and to keep the whites looking bright all year round, also add ACE Ultra for Whites. Ink StainsWashing up liquid is a solution for this type of stain too; as it’s meant to cut through grease on dishes, it cuts through grease on clothes too. Rub a little bit of the liquid directly onto the stain, rinse with cold water and wash the garment as usual. Or, another solution would be to pre-treat the stain with ACE Stain Remover Spray, leave it for a few minutes, then wash with your usual detergent and 2 capfuls of ACE Ultra for Colours. Grass, Mud and Blood Stains Try removing the stain by hand – Grab a wet tea towel and try removing the stain by hand. Just dab the tea towel over the stain a few times and look for residue left on the towel. If the stain remover has worked, the stain should begin to lift up. If it hasn’t, the stain remover may need longer to work. Pour Ace into the drawer marked with the CL symbol, up to the level guideline. If your washing-machine does not have a compartment with the CL symbol: Non-ionic surfactants, Oxygen based bleaching agents, Phosphonates, Perfumes, Benzyl salicylate, Hexyl cinnamal Usage/directions

ACE Tips for Removing Stains from School Uniforms - ACE

It has a pleasant smell that is not overwhelming and is known for its effectiveness on oily, greasy stains. You can either continue using the towel and remove the stain that way, or you can wash it on the usual program you use. It is not advisable to pre-treat rust stains, don’t leave the product for long enough that it dries, and be sure not to expose it to sunlight. Our worst nightmares is probably getting chewing gum in our hair, but what happens when we get it on our clothes? With plenty of opportunities for this to happen at school, we’ve got you covered with how to get rid of stains from school uniforms.

Warning

This stain remover is not only very affordable, but it is also our only option on the list that is suitable for all fabrics, including silk, wool, and even cashmere. Depending on how bad the stain is (how old it is), it is best to leave the stain remover to soak in overnight. No matter if an apron or a jumper is worn, kids are bound to get paint absolutely everywhere – and worst of all, on their white school shirts! Although it’s common for schools to use water-based, washable paints, these can unfortunately still stain.

Ease of use We recorded how much elbow grease and repeat applications were needed to clean off the stain with each of the products and home remedies.

Ingredients

Just remember to test a small area on the garment with the stain remover to ensure the dye in the fabric or the fabric itself isn’t effective. If you do not intend to add any other products (e.g. softener), you can pour your bleach into the "other products" section. Very few stain removers can be used on delicate materials like wool or silk, but there is one product on our list that can be used on most materials while remaining both affordable and effective. This stand-out product is Ace Gentle Stain Remover. Do you have sensitive skin?
