About this deal

I honestly could not envision DiCaprio the way Bale owned the role of Bateman and what he brought to not only the psychosis of the character, but its physicality too. In 1987, twentysomething Wall Street broker Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) seems to have it all: he is handsome, successful and engaged to the beautiful Evelyn (Reese Witherspoon). Patrick does what he does (which is recounted to the reader in graphic detail) and he gets away with it. Facial features, deconstructed jackets and clothing, and the film's excellent 80s production design are all on display.

Deleted Scenes - The deleted scenes are presented along with short, on set interviews with cast members and have an optional commentary track with Mary Harron. True, he didn't don the cape and cowl for a few years after this film's premiere, but one can't help look at his Patrick Bateman and see a little bit of his future Bruce Wayne sitting there. All in all, a surprising film which shows social irregularities and problems that afflicted a generation and how one man chooses to deal them. American Psycho makes a glorious Ultra HD Blu-ray debut courtesy of Lionsgate, who afford it a native 4K presentation complete with all the glorious added benefit of Dolby Vision.Products labelled '*item fulfilled by Exertis on behalf of hmv' will be supplied to you directly by Exertis via their approved couriers. It originally came out as a new release in 2000, right after its theatrical run, in both R and unrated editions. The club scenes are even more electric, and the song track monologues deliver a slew of defining song tracks superbly, giving yet further fuel for the surrounds.

Lionsgate has made sure fans will want to upgrade for this release by giving it a gorgeous native 4K transfer with Dolby Vision HDR and a terrific new Dolby Atmos audio mix. He dines daily with his friends Bryce (Justin Theroux), McDermott (Josh Lucas), and Luis (Matt Ross). dimensional now, as do the different textures for the cards that the aspirants toward Vice President have chosen.Black Levels: The black levels are deep and inky throughout, and there are lots of the sequences here are in the dark so it’s great that things look so spectacular here. Each is centered around a "Featured Character," and Harron also provides a brief introduction to each.

There’s no real rhyme or reason for his behaviors nor how he decides who lives and dies (not even dogs are safe). You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice.

Sit back, relax, and turn on some Phil Collins, because American Psycho: Uncut Version arrives on 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack (plus Blu-ray and Digital) September 25th from Lionsgate.Christian Bale far from the first choice to play Patrick Bateman and Mary Harron not the first director on board .
