About this deal

The drum rotation seems very reliable. Even so, there’s an extra mechanism at the front of the drum for centering the barrel with the plunger tube. Perhaps that really is necessary? Hasbro doesn’t usually add extra plastic mechanisms on the inside without a reason. For those looking to mod, the Strongarm/Doominator plunger setup isn’t nearly as robust as those in the Retaliator and similar blasters. It works well, but doesn’t like to last with extra force. The ability to instantly reload your NERF gun would be scary on any blaster, but the NERF Flip-32 features four, eight-dart barrels, giving you a staggering 32-dart capacity before you even have to reload! The barrels are front-loaded, so it’s worth taking a little preparation time before any fight, as you don’t want to be in the middle of a blaster fight loading up. Carius (2018-02-01). Complaining about the SurgeFire (Drum Swap Mod?) (Video). YouTube. Retrieved on 2018-02-04.

The one thing I removed on the inside is this piece, which keeps you from pumping an already primed blaster. The orange lever drops down in place after priming, and then gets moved up by the protrusion above the plunger. However, I like being able to pump a blaster to rotate the cylinder, especially when I’m reloading. Why abuse the slip gear on the cylinder by rotating the whole drum by hand? But Does It Have the Heart? The Elite 2.0 Motoblitz comes with a total of 22 NERF Elite foam darts, more than enough to fill your clip and the Airblitz barrel. Additionally, the blaster features an integrated tactical scope, which is perfect for aiming and taking out targets from a distance, and three tactical rails—one at the top and one on each side of the blaster—for plenty of customization options. It bears a resemblance to the 2015 N-Strike Mega RotoFury, with its main differences being that it fires Elite Darts and has a larger capacity.

Customer reviews

By and large, the Nerf brand has embraced the magazine for its flagship products. Cylinders have largely been relegated to roles in pistols or specialized roles (Mastodon, The Judge, etc). In the case of the Surgefire, however, Hasbro has released a fifteen-shot blaster at a primary-type price point. It performs up to Elite standards and works well in practice, but is it too little too late? The NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz is a game-changer in NERF blaster technology. This powerful blaster offers two modes of play: the air-pressurized “Airblitz” action and the motorized semi-automatic firing. Alpha Trooper CS-12 • Firestrike • RapidStrike CS-18 • Rayven CS-18 • Rayven Stinger • Rough Cut 2x4 • Spectre REV-5 • Strongarm • Stryfe • Triad EX-3 Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you.

When slam firing, priming the priming handle too fast will skip a dart, and require another shot to shoot the dart. The handle and priming grip are both large and comfortable to use for extended periods. It’s Got the Guts…

The Motoblitz is also a fully-fledged semi-automatic blaster. Load the included 10-dart clip, hold down the priming button under the trigger to activate the motor, and you’re ready to go! The combination of semi-auto firing and Airblitz technology makes this blaster truly fearsome. Whilst we will do everything we can to meet the delivery times above, there may be factors outside of our control and we cannot guarantee delivery within this time frame. Slam the competition with a surge of 15 darts from the Nerf SurgeFire blaster! This N-Strike Elite blaster has a rotating drum that holds 15 darts. Choose a target and blast 1 dart a time, or slam-fire all 15 darts rapidly to pour on the firepower. This pump-action blaster launches darts up to 90 feet (27 meters), so surge into battle and take control of the action! Includes 15 Elite darts. The SurgeFire is a pump-action blaster that features a fifteen- dart rotating drum. It features the ability to be slam fired. [2] There is a single tactical rail atop the blaster, as well as three strap points: one above the muzzle, one built into the trigger grip, and one above the blaster. On the inside, the Surgefire has largely the same internals as the Doominator, minus of course the complicated and unreliable rotation carriage. A plastic bar extends from the top of the priming handle to the rear of the blaster. The slamfire mechanism is naturally included.

The Airblitz action is fun to use. Load up to 6 darts in the Airblitz barrel and prime the air tank by pumping the priming mechanism located at the bottom of the blaster. Once your tank is primed, there is a button on the side of the gun that releases 6 Elite darts at once—perfect for sending a message to your opponents or taking down multiple rivals with one shot. The drum on the Surgefire is separate in the box, and designed to snap in (it is not meant to be removed). It’s fairly small, not adding much width to the profile of the blaster, but it seems like it could’ve held four or five more barrels with ease. However, that’s mainly from being spoiled by things like the Magnum Superdrum, which crams as many barrels together as humanly possible. One of the best things about this blaster is its ability to be customized. It comes with a detachable scope, barrel, and 3 tactical rails, allowing you to create different blaster styles for any situation. This is perfect for players who want to switch up their strategy and take advantage of different situations. The SurgeFire was leaked in summer 2017, alongside the Mediator. [3] It was then announced at Hascon 2017. Well, we have already shared the magic of the Flipshots blasters with the Flip-32, and you’ll be pleased to know that the Flip-16 features the same innovative “Flip” technology, turning a simple 8-shot, front-loaded blaster into a concealed 16-dart powerhouse!

The drum can be removed by inserting a thin object into a hole on the drum housing; it is not intended to be swapped out like a drum clip, however.

When we first saw the NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32, it blew our minds (not literally, we’re okay). It feels like Hasbro threw the rulebook out the window when conceiving the Flipshots sub-series of Elite 2.0.
