About this deal

No amount of time will be enough with you. Not a minute. Not an hour. Not a decade. Not a century. But I promise to make all of our time count. I may not tell you I love you every minute of every day, but I try to show you—because true love has to be felt not heard. And our love, B? It’s my favorite feeling. Here’s to tomorrow, and the next day, and the one after that - and all the love that’s shared in between.”

Recommended Reads about Race, Racism, and Demarginalizing History - Necessary Non-fiction You Should Read for Life-changing Insights and Impact I related to Pheonix a lot more than I would have liked to, but life happens & i’m grateful to be here, still living this life while reading many books! I was so close to marking this a dnf but I kept going even though I was struggling to want to read. This book is compulsive reading from start to finish. A perfectly crafted work of art, seamless and mesmerising. I envy those yet to read it for the pleasure they have in store’ Amanda Robson There are three Queens in my Emotional Romance castle, sitting on their thrones side by side in all their power and glory: Colleen Hoover, Brittainy C. Cherry and Kristen Granata. Thanks to Kristen Granata for generously providing me with an advance copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review. I’m not surprised, Kristen always does that. She did it again as I knew she would. There is a space in my heart for this story and also in my favorite bookshelf right next to the rest of her books. I am in awe of this masterpiece. If you’ve loved Kristen’s book in the past, mark your calendars for July 27th and don’t miss this amazing story. And if you haven’t read anything by her, I beg you to give this author a chance. Her writing is something no Romance reader should ever miss.

Then I was confused and definitely unsure just like Blaine was I felt her emotions I rode the wave with her... But slowly and surely she made me smile and happy again (she would bloody want to) and now this story will definitely stay with me forever and has been added to MY BIG BOOk OF FAVORITES The twist that I found amazing was quite unrealistic. There was a lot in this book that wasn’t quite believable and I did have trouble reading it at my usual fast pace. Finn and Ellen are supposed to be in love but you can’t tell from him constantly leaving the house and barely spending time with her. Yes, this is part of the story, but it made me feel disconnected from the characters. There really wasn’t much depth to any of them. This psychological thriller will have you on the edge of your seat right up until the end of the book. You are drawn in from the start and completely hooked. HOWEVER, this book wasn’t written properly. I feel like it had too much potential, but it fell flat. The characters were… they had no proper characterization. Every time the topic of mental health or struggles came up, it read like a self-help book. The dialogues, both in and out of such scenes, were dramatic, cringy, and just awkward. Also, this moved way too damn fast for what should be the appropriate pace for a book like this one; tell me why at like 10% she’s insinuating personal things to practical strangers??? It felt very incredibly unrealistic to me.I can’t say I loved this book, but I did like it. I found the plot really interesting and the twist at the end made me glad I read the book. It also made me wonder if re-reading it would give me a better appreciation for it. I enjoyed the writing and I liked reading the story from different character points of view. Although I liked the book in general, it’s hard to pinpoint why. Especially since I have quite a few criticisms. What I Didn’t Love James has a younger brother Leo, who Pheonix has a bond with instantly as they both struggle with some of the same issues. Leo made me laugh and made me want to cry all at the same time. He was an instant favorite of mine & I hope we get to see more of him in the future. For a book detailed like this one and written in ten years the ending was rushed and not satisfying... It could be easily a 5 star. I felt all the emotions through my veins and yep i cried like a baby, half of the book though. Reading all the stages and break downs yep those made me ugly cry... All things set aside: this book felt like what I needed to hear at this exact moment in my life. It was a good reminder that I'm not alone in this journey, despite what my inner voice might tell me sometimes. It was so sad that I am so glad I didn't read it at work or at the park or some other public place.
