About this deal

Either way, this is by no means to say that Organza is a bad perfume - I still adore its scent from the bottle, but that just so happens that it no longer suits me, which happens. The opening doesn't smell too bad, it's less creamy than I remember, and it has a little bit of "sunscreen" added to it (which I can't remember from the past, but I'm a sucker for the smell of sunscreen, so no problem). One of my mum's favorites, I still remembered this weird-looking bottle on her vanity from the 90s, but had no recollection of the smell, so I had to try it.

I actually like the scent though not my usual taste, I find it sweet white flowers with a bit of powdery haze, but God! Like brown tinted sunglasses glued to your face, making it impossible to see the real color and beauty of a flower. I foolishly ignored trying this delicious scent for the longest time for reasons that are beyond me. Organza conjures up imagery of the middle east, or possibly Egyptian mystique to me, despite the notes not being pointedly middle eastern. The blend is strengthened on dry down with its enveloping woody notes, suffused with sweet but not gourmand vanilla, with sensual amber notes that give a grandiose creamy and powdery aftertaste of great charm.Tried it again and began to appreciate how unique the scent is - I really don't own anything similar.

It grounds the florals with a refreshingly nutty alternative to traditional woody notes at this stage of development, and adds a cosy, autumnal vibe. Some are one spray, and only for cold weather in the evening, and some are 5 sprays in the spring for work. I don't remember smelling Organza in the '90s, so I have no idea as to if this recent formulation is a gutted shadow of what it once was, or if my batch is bogus, or if I'm parosmic to it or what.com perfumes magazine - All Rights Reserved - do not copy anything without prior written permission.

It opens up a bit sharp and powdery but as the day progresses it becomes more and more woody and soft.I enjoy the opening, the exhilarating green jasmine is what I focus on, and I willingly swoon under the emphatic wave of gardenia.
