About this deal

Corsair” is one of the most well-known and reputable computer companies today, with a wide variety of goods ranging from power supplies to chassis, cooling, and peripherals. Today we’ll look at one of their newest products, the H100i V2 240mm Liquid CPU cooler, which is claimed to be a replacement. I also saw that the brand new 110 is coming out with something like 1,xx of air pressure and 94cfm...all against 2 months of useless words said by people apparently appointed by Corsair to reply in this forum.

In my past professional role and experience in managing technology products, that list will require a lot of work to fix. They will need to take one of their own fans and try to modify them to work the pump controller. They will try to modify the pump controller - but's an expensive so will focus on a workaround with firmware. The CL is a major re-write. I have a Corsair H100i GTX Cooler. After staying up til 4am (I started getting this issue after a bios update), I figured out what was wrong. The bios pump fan was set to auto. It's fairly difficult to keep piling on heat with the fans at maximum, at least from CPU heat. What were you doing at the time? If you heat the case up with the GPU, you might see this. Not related specifically to fan control, but it would be good to figure out if there is something wrong with the cooler. What kind of room and case temperature do you have? When sitting at idle on the desktop, what is the coolant temperature? Does it stay level or slowly creep up?if you put the system in standby, when waking it up you must restart CL or it will be freezed and fans will not follow settings I understand this thread is a few months old now but I decided to share how I fixed my issue with the Cooler disconnecting/reconnecting. All right, with the introduction out of the way, it’s time to get into the nitty-gritty of Corsair’s former and current best-selling coolers! Finally, we illustrate cooling performance faced with the extreme load generated by Intel Burn Test. We don’t think any application will put this much pressure on a CPU, so consider this an absolute worst-case scenario. CL create a few random problems in the system like 2nd HDD not recognized unless restarting pc till is ok, some usb devices not recognized unless restarting till is ok.

Corsair already had a winner on its hands with the H100i, released in 2012, and the new-for-2016 H100i v2 improves upon that model in a multitude of ways. It’s easier to install, looks even better, and performs just as well despite much lower noise levels. If you were looking for even more extreme cooling performance from this redesign, you might be disappointed, but in our opinion, extreme CPU cooling performance is overrated. It will be virtually impossible to push a CPU cooled by the H100i v2 past the thermal throttling threshold, so we find its much quieter top-end performance a saner take on CPU cooling in general. Are you having problems with the cooler? If you are not, then there is no reason to flash the cooler to 1.04 or 1.05. The Corsair H100i v2 is an air cooler that has a rated lifespan of about 6 years. Is the Corsair Hydro Series Good?

radiator: Our Hydro Series coolers utilize a 120mm or 140mm radiator, thus the 240mm radiator provides about double the cooling surface. It will fit in almost any case with twin 120mm fan mounts that are spaced enough for a 240mm radiator. The fans should not accelerate or decelerate with game action. That's what an air cooler does when tied to CPU temp. With iCUE not running, the cooler will default to its original internal fan curve or what you saved to the device. This will always be based on coolant temperature so no matter the settings, it should not dynamically change from minute to minute.

This is another way to do it ... setting the header to PWM mode does supply the constant 12V of power. The PWM signal is ignored. Last year, we put together a comprehensive high-end cooler shootout, which included the original Corsair Hydro H100i. While that cooler offered the highest performance of all the models we tested, we felt that the air coolers we put it up against offered a better balance of temperature and noise. And so we came to our review of the H100i v2 curious how Corsair would tweak the design. Would it just go for ever-higher performance at the expense of noise, or would it re-tune the original H100i to operate with a more reasonable noise profile. I have 10 PCs. All of them had Corsair coolers and PSUs. Some had Corsair RAM and commander pro's. Of those 10 PCs I had to make 14 cooler replacements over an 3 year period with the coolers failing, typically the pumps.I think it doenst matter what is the inicial temperature because If I start the computer with the default setting of starting ICUE when the computer starts, it starts as acelerated as before. When applying it, the computer works perfectly and it doesnt accelerate as heavily as before. On the desktop and playing non high-performance games, it works properly. But, in high-performance games the temperature keeps rising. Having the 100% rpm to 49ºC, I can stabilize the temp to 43ºC, being that the highest it rise. Nevertheles, I feel that the fans are overaccelerated and makes an unpleasant noise. They keep saying a lot of words but at the end of the story CL it is a big mess and the product its self does not match what they advertised.
