About this deal

With a passion for DIY that dates back to 2012, I’ve transformed three homes and now I’m dedicated to helping others craft their dream spaces. After having these restraints up for almost two years, I can tell you that I absolutely stopped noticing that they are even there at all. You'd need an angry grinder to cut through the hinges and that would take a while, likewise the lock. My front door opens outwards and I hate it, it blows in the wind and just about knocks people off their feet when I open it as they stand too close as they’re expecting it to open inwards. When using cabinet restraint wires, take time to figure out exactly how wide you want the doors to open.

I have a whole box of 107* Blum clip top hinges with the add-on restriction clip ready to go when need be like your situation. You don’t want your cabinet doors to hit each other because it can damage the door or the knob and will also make a surprisingly loud noise. The door has a mirror on it, but is otherwise pretty lightweight (measures about 45cm wide, by 65cm high and 12mm or so deep). They are made from high quality steel for strength and durability, providing a lifetime of trouble dree use.

Slide-in stoves with large handles are the worst to anticipate and I will go to a showroom to see them on display whenever possible. I’m really not sure why it was designed that way in the first placeOutwards opening doors are far more secure.

I quickly discovered that cabinet doors opening too far and banging into each other is a super simple problem to solve.I have been using the inserts and the plates with the cams and nylon dowels ever since they were introduced. Titus hinge angle restrictors limit the opening angle of cabinet doors and prevent damage to door or any adjacent object. All you need is a drill and a cabinet door restraint kit and you can have this fixed in 5 minutes flat!

I have, like an idiot, created so many designs that have doors banging into appliances or columns or adjacent doors. They come in different shapes and styles to work effectively across various wall and base options covering all opening functions.Designed to limit door opening prior to allowing entrance to visitors, it is easily applied and released when the door is closed. Mine too, but if yours (like mine) opens out to a flat patio or path rather than steps down then it already complies with the rules. i was hoping something simple to install that does not require routing of the actual door (since this is made of cheap MDF and is unlikely to router very well - and in any case I don't have a router! I'm sure there are some other options for a restrictor but I can't just think of what the technical name for them is at the moment, it would have a slide bar mounted to back of the door and not look the best and also be a little more expensive than just using a small chain as a restrictor.
