About this deal

I have been running it for a fair while and it just never hiccups, it is very reliable and very strong and well worth the money. Direct extruding, Smooth feed-in: Equipped with quality motor, Lower torque requirements on stepper motor, reducing the possibility of nozzle blockage when retracting filament and malfunction when loading new filament.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. I still can fine tune the Cura settings, but the direct drive has allowed me to print faster with fewer problems. The innovative printing platform is a combination of a PC coating, a spring steel sheet and a magnetic sticker, which sticks to the surface immediately when released. To swap carriages I just removed the belt tensioner, loosened the screws holding the print beam to its Z axis carriage and pulled the beam away from the upright far enough to slide the old one off and the new one on.a printable bracket to mount the extruder and its stepper, literally fifty cents worth of filament and a couple hours of printer time. With the Bevel Gear design, we are able to achieve the industry shortest filament path (less than 41mm). It doesn’t need any firmware updates or other tweaking, apart from making sure the bed’s levelled after you’re done screwing things back together. In my last post I mentioned that I was planning to fit our Ender 3 with an integrated hot end and extruder. I had a difficult thin section part to print on my standard CR10S machine and it failed several times despite my best efforts, so, I thought this is a good time to cut my losses and fit the MicroSwiss Extruder.

If you already have a direct drive setup this probably doesn’t have much to offer, but if you’re still using a standard Bowden tube setup it’s definitely worth considering. With the filament exposed, the X axis moves back and forth it pulls on the reel, rather than the reel advancing smoothly as the extruder pulls in the filament. The installation instructions are good (except adjusting the X,Y offsets) and within an hour or so had it installed. Now I am looking at a direct drive kit, I would like to convert my ender 3 to direct drive and preferably together with an all metal hotend, so I can print flexibel materials and materials needing a higher temp then just PLA. Sprite Direct Dual-Gear Extruder】: The “Sprite" is lighter and features less inertia and more precise positioning, supports PLA/TPU/PETG/ABS print filaments.

Auto Leveling with Creality CR Touch】: Upgraded CR Touch 16-point automatic bed leveling technology saves you the trouble of manual leveling. The unit itself has the usual Ender 3 plastic extruder, although it’s slightly improved on the one that originally came with the printer; the main update is the addition of a brass liner to the filament port, which should fix any wear problems.

Integrated Structure with all Metal: The Direct Extruding Full Kits's sturdy and wear resistant with all-metall sell and surface oxidation treatment; Integrated structure is convenient for wiring and replacing. One of the key upgrades is the inclusion of a dual-rod design for the Y-axis, which enhances stability and reduces vibrations during printing. Because the advantage of literally just moving the existing extruder to the X carriage is that all it costs is a dollar's worth of filament and a couple hours of machine time -- plus the disassembly and assembly. It fits perfectly although the cabling is in the way a bit so be careful when you start testing because if you get it wrong, oops, something will break. The nylon material requires extra care to print; it needs to be extruded at high temperatures(260-300),keep the filament dry and print it in high ambient temperature.

Direct drive extruders, on the other hand, by reducing the extruder to hot end distance to the practical minimum, greatly reduce the amount of retraction needed as well as the effect of filament compression and stretching.

A little fiddly to install the wiring and no proper instructions included (I am a novice), but once installed this has transformed my Ender 3v2. Over the years I’ve added things like an EZRStuder, a glass bed, a filament holder with bearings, a Capricon Bowden Tube, etc. I did work it out so if you can contact me and I can give you some more information about it and I can send you video how a worked it out.
