About this deal

First Possibility: Light Realm. Celestia is always destroying areas where Irminsul trees grow, which are connected to the Leylines, which is connected to the Light Realm. The small irminsul trees that grow are what the Night Mother hates the most. The Blind Pygmy wants to keep the sunlight with them forever, which is the prince. He doesn't want to risk losing the Prince. The Prince shone with an extraordinary light. The people of the Moonlight Forest had never seen such vitality. For as the Prince strolled through the forest, life flourished around him: new leaves sprouted and the Princess and her people grew stronger. The deformed pygmy strikes a deal with the Princess, vowing loyalty for their aid, a 'contract' if you will.

I would like to say now that only 1 pygmy has any relevance. The 5 other pygmies do not really matter. While we learn of everyones fate in the final book, the 5 other pygmies are notably not present. The deformed pygmy also goes into a self-imposed exile at the end, willingly separating himself from his brothers (which is why I place little importance on them).

The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies (II)

I wanted to see my garden but somehow got lost." Rubbing his withered palms, the shrunken pygmy grinned. Disclaimer: The series is not yet fully released and volumes 2-7 are all datamined. This means that this is subject to change.

First of all, I feel like the thematic message of the entire Fontaine archon quest just correlates a little too perfectly with this quote. As the Mage N said, “what has been prophesized shall be fulfilled.” What the pygmy didn't know is that the vicious Night Mother had already found the Princess. She followed the pygmy stealthily, like a wild cat stalking its prey, her shadowy figure blotting out the moonlight and starlight. The Pale Princess was asleep. In the night, the pygmies started to carry out their evil plan. The prince was tortured as the Princess sleeps. https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Lore/comments/zi5wzf/revisiting_the_pale_princess_and_the_six_pygmies/ However, a question remains. If indeed, it is the Archons, then why are they Pygmies specifically? On hearing this, the pygmies were elated. To show their gratitude, they went along on the journey to serve the Prince and the Princess.Usually, a short character in a story is often associated to a child. But these are Pygmies, they're adults. Princess of the Moonlight Forest, please save my five brothers. We will vow our loyalty to you in return for your kindness," begged a deformed pygmy who had just popped up from behind the branches. All that rascal did was save our lives and now he acts so condescendingly, treating us like servants. I shall challenge him to a duel!"

I destroyed the Moonlight Kingdom and cursed her people before her eyes. They will be in an undead state, lingering at the point between life and death forevermore. No soul and no moonlight. In the past years we had basically no idea why the Tsarista had been collecting the Gnoses. But after the lore drop about the gnoses being the Third Descender’s corpse, it’s likely that she is collecting them to revive the Third Descender. And this would tie in suspiciously perfectly with the quotes from Book V and VI.The Primordial One and one of its shades created the birds of the air, the beasts of the earth, and the fish of the sea. Together, they also created flowers, grass, and trees, before finally creating humans When the pygmy arrived, the Princess was already gone. The sorrowful howl of a night owl was heard as the Night Mother arose from the now-corrupt fountain. Blind Pygmy: Baal/Beelzebul. Inazuma is a region that is very vertical, and the Blindness probably symbolizes how Ei was blind to what was happening to her country while she was trying to pursue eternity. She wants to keep the sinlight with them forever, signifying her quest for eternity. The Night Mother was the source of all sins, and the Land of Night was the embodiment of her evilness. The cruel Night Mother, who had neither heart nor mouth, was always watching the Land of Night, and her punishments were always unexpected. The only thing she could not bear was the occasional ray of moonlight that made it through the clouds. The light that penetrated the walls of darkness always irritated her. The pygmy went for the fountain of purity, where the princess slept. However, the Night Mother already found her. "Pitiful creature, are you here to see your master?", the Night Mother suddenly appeared at the shadow of the pygmy.

Dansleif says, "In the perpetual meantime of a sheltered eternity, most are content to live, and not to dream." The people of Teyvat have no life because they are content, unlike the Khaenri'ahns who "dream of dreaming".

The Pale Princess and the Six Pygmies (IV)

But the master of the heavens, consumed by fear for the rising tide of delusion and breakthroughs, sent down the divine nails to mend the land, laying waste to the mortal realm…”
