Essentially a fruit juicer, lemonade juicer is a great way to get your daily dose of vitamins and minerals. While this is optional, I highly recommend zesting/peeling the lemon before juicing it to make the most of the ingredient. Although the Proctor Silex consists primarily of plastic and looks pretty humble next to some of the other models we tried, its parts worked better than those of many of the other juicers. While you can juice a lemon without peeling it, I would not recommend you do this if you’re planning on making classical lemonade.
