Using a cold-water sterilising solution (following manufacturer guidelines for using with 1.8 litres of water), add required amount to the water tank. Fill the tank to the max line with cold water and place a suitable container under the dispenser spout. Anti-Bacterial Filter: The Perfect Prep anti-bacterial filter is designed for use with water straight from the tap and ensures that the water is clean and safe to make a bottle feed

Pour 1 litre of clear/white (food grade) vinegar into the water tank. Top up the water tank to the max line with freshly boiled water and place a suitable container under the dispenser spout.

Before first use you need to run a cleaning cycle – which should take approximately 10 minutes. For hygiene and safety reasons you should clean your unit on a regular basis. As is normal with all manufactured products, the Perfect Prep™ machine dispensed water volume has an allowed tolerance of +/- 5%. Additionally, there are potential tolerances in the measurement graduations of our Closer to Nature bottles.

This product is intended to filter potable (drinking) water only. Do not put water of unknown quality into this product. Always ensure good hygiene by washing your hands and work surfaces before handling the water filter. On average each Perfect Prep filter should last around 3 months, however this depends on the frequency of use and what size bottles you are preparing. The original Perfect Prep machine features a warning light which will indicate when the filter is due to be replaced and the Day & Night version will display a message on the screen. The Tommee Tippee plain white filter and blue/ white filters are compatible with both Perfect Prep Machines. Clean the external machine surface with a clean cloth (it is advisable to use an antibacterial solution), taking care to clean in all grooves and under the dispenser spout.Regularly top it up with cold tap water rather than letting a full unit stand and warm for long periods of time.

We only recommend you use Tommee Tippee Perfect Prep Replacement Filters in the Perfect Prep machine. The filter may look a lot like other water filters but inside is a unique filtration membrane designed to remove impurities and contaminants. Most standard water filters do not include an anti-bacterial filtration membrane so will NOT remove bacteria. It is therefore extremely important to ensure that you are buying and using the correct Tommee Tippee anti-bacterial filter. Press the descale button for 2 seconds and the system will run a descale process. During the descale process the red descale light will continue to flash. Our Perfect Prep™ are compatible for use in the Perfect Prep™ Original and the Perfect Prep™ Day & Night machines.
