While her first two books focused on healthy eating, exercise and recipes, The Female Factor sees her delving deeper into women’s health. And so, for the past three years (in between COVID shifts at the hospital), I’ve dedicated most of my time to researching how to help women live healthier, happier lives. Like all doctors working the NHS, she was pitched headlong into caring for seriously ill Covid patients, at a time when very little was known about this new disease.
