About this deal

Rod sang a stunning version of Tom Traubert’s Blues (Waltzing Matilda) in the set, the first time Rod has sang it live since The 2015 Hyde Park set. Photo Andrew Treadwell I haven’t no, so to hear the band live in our first rehearsal together was extremely special! The energy and talent was SO exciting!! Rehearsals have been going really well thank you! I had been rehearsing by myself whenever and wherever I could for about 2 months so to see it come to life with the band made me even more excited!

Aww thank you so much! I haven’t played piano in quite a while and wouldn’t say I’m amazing but can play well enough to accompany myself. I used to perform a lot of solo gigs so would accompany myself then. Which of course was a great shame, as while definitely running on empty at times, I'll still take this over most of any of his numerous albums ever since. One unusual thing that happened at the show was a lady called Aimee held a sign up asking Rod to let her sing with him on Stay With Me. So someone from Rods crew got her up on stage and she got to do her duet..more on this show next week! Tim told us this week “Lots more to do bulking up and then adding detail” So don’t worry Yve Paige his hair is not finished yet! I think I have worn out my royal welcome. I think I will leave it to someone else. I will be in Las Vegas, but my wife will be on duty as a policewoman though.”said Rod

Photo By Carolyn Sandgren It was fantastic,” he says. “We never made Rod’s house, though. We met him at some restaurant and he started making us mudslingers.
