FamilyFix 360 Pro features FlexiSpin, a 360° rotational system that enables Pebble 360 Pro and Pearl 360 Pro to easily rotate using only one hand in any reclined position. Very happy with this pushchair for my twin girls, folds up in one which is so much easier when going out or going on holiday anywhere. Nice and sturdy and my girls love it now they are sitting next to eachother when we are out and about.

Most other 360 seats use a rebound bar and have an adjustable leg to prevent the seat from tipping forward in the event of an accident. The top tether system adds another level of complexity when fitting the seat - you have to thread the belt under the rear headrest and then go in through the boot to hook it onto the tether point. So it's not the sort of seat you want to be moving between cars on a regular basis. Compared with the pebble we use in the other car, the strapping and body size adjustment is both simpler and better thought out. Can't comment on the sizes through time as our little chap is only 4 months: required to be rear facing for at least 15 months (iSize standard), and no more than 87 cm, and then forward until 105cm. Your mileage may vary, obviously, but think that's about 2 years rear facing in practice. It's about the size of a pearl.

With a smooth swivelling action, the AxissFix feels like a well made car seat. The handle to spin it around isn't the easiest to use as you have to twist your hand to an odd angle. We did find ourselves fumbling a bit in the dark to locate it. The central handle in something like the Nuna REBL is easier to use. But that's only a minor criticism. Obviously this isn't a problem when forward facing but as the advice is to keep children rear facing for longer, we spent most journeys trying to persuade her not to play with it... As always, it's worth trying out the AxissFix in your car if you can. Most big car seat retailers will be more than happy for you to test the fit and it's crucial you're happy with it.

It took us far longer to take out than seats like the Nuna REBL and Britax DualFix which just require to the two Isofix arms to be unclipped. While we make sure you enjoy the ease of use, we have also taken the safety of your little one into consideration: So that means you'd have to buy another car seat for newborns. It seems Maxi-Cosi has overcome this problem though because from late 2016 this seat has been superceded by the newer AxissFix Plus, which is suitable from birth thanks to a new padded insert.

It is pretty easy to install, fixing to the isofix points. Rather than the leg to the floor that our 2-way fix base uses, this uses the top tether point behind the headrest for the third point, like the earlier poster commented. Not sure why that would be a problem, seems like it would provide more vertical anchoring when it matters than a leg would.
