About this deal

All in all, great list regardless, but I'm still MASSIVELY disappointed that these two absolutely stellar classics weren't included. If you have a GameCube and you like racing and/or arcade games, then these are simply must-haves, and they shouldn't go missing on any list regarding the GameCube. Though there was no explicit mention of the GameCube, this seems to imply that a new console could be coming to the NSO incentives. We're (very) slowly running out of options, and the GameCube is the next best contender.

Pikmin 1 vs. Pikmin 2 is debatable since they're very different, but I can definitely respect ranking Pikmin 2 over 1.Big John Games, in a partnership with ARC Systems Works, brings the latest adaptation of the Cube Creator series to the Nintendo Switch with Cube Creator X. The Nintendo Switch allows Cube Creator X to stretch its legs and accommodate much larger worlds which feel vast and alive (more than three times the total cubes in Cube Creator DX). ARC Systems’ incredible history of brilliant art direction is evident in a massive cosmetic upgrade in character and level design. Multiplayer is supported for Competitive and Cooperative styles of play up to four players. It’s the same on your Switch console, although there are a couple of extra challenges and new ways to play. You can even challenge friends and family to see if anyone has what it takes, and because you’re playing for fun, and not real cash, you can play as many times as you like. In Wind Waker, players take to the sea as the silent hero, Link, as he journeys to save his sister. He's joined by the pirate captain, Tetra, and her crew as they band together to fight Ganon. His talking boat, the King of Red Lions, helps guide Link along the way and carries him across the water.

I'm honestly surprised that neither Star Fox game for the GameCube made it onto the list. Sorry for the length of the comment, BTW.Sad to not see either Pokémon Colosseum or XD: Gale of Darkness on this list, but not surprised either. I will fully admit I am super biased towards those games, as Colosseum was not only my first GameCube game, but my first 'game' period. Players had the choice of playing the story or choosing from one of two battle modes where they can specifically battle like in Stadium. In the story, there is an organization stealing Pokémon and mistreating them and it's up to you to stop it. And with enemies like a killer centipede and scores of undead cretins continually trying to eat your face, imminent death happens a lot more than you might think.
