About this deal

The Worx Pegasus WX051 is a highly versatile work table and sawhorse that offers exceptional functionality and convenience. Its sturdy construction can easily handle heavy loads, making it perfect for a wide range of projects. The tabletop is equipped with integrated clamps and slots to secure materials firmly, and it can be effortlessly converted into a sawhorse for added versatility. Its folding design and lightweight nature make it exceptionally portable, making it an ideal choice for those who require a portable work surface. Overall, the Worx Pegasus WX051 stands out as a reliable and versatile option for anyone in need of a portable folding workbench. Some have built-in clamps, while others have clamps that you have to attach to the table first before working on a piece of wood. In my opinion, the best portable folding workbench is the WORX Pegasus Multi-Function Work Table and Sawhorse. It’s not as popular as the Keter portable workbench, but it can hold its own against the competition. Steel fittings provide durability to hinged areas, preventing them from wearing out with repeated openings. The hinge system for the table wings offers maximum load support of 300 pounds. That rating increases to 1,000 pounds when the Pegasus WX051 is in sawhorse configuration. The Pegasus WX051 is a portable workbench that folks up to 35 H x 25 W x 5-inches Deep. It weighs 30 pounds, making it easy to carry by yourself. Worx designed this work table to fold along hinges, with two wings acting as table extensions when deployed. 4.8 out of 5.0 stars 4.8

One design element that stands out when comparing the Worx Pegasus vs Keter designs is the table. The Pegasus breaks down into a sawhorse, offering you more versatility. The Keter tabletop is somewhat larger, though, which might be of interest if you need that extra space. Secondly, its sturdy polypropylene table top measures a more than reasonable 31″ x 25″ in size, allowing you to support larger materials with ease, while the 32″ working height provided by its durable steel legs is a good mix of being low enough to make it easier to lift materials onto, yet tall enough to minimize how much bending over is needed when using the workbench. The workbench design also makes a huge difference in its portability. For example, some models may have a fold-down option with a handle. The handle will make it easier to carry and transport. Additionally, some designs fall flat with the legs stored internally, which makes them easier to move without getting caught on anything. Some plastic workbenches have slots on the table leaves where you can store tools, such as a screwdriver, a drill, or a circular saw. Some even have recessed containers where you can put some nails, screws, and other small tools. One feature that may stand out in this Worx Pegasus review is the table surface. The tabletop measures 31 x 25-inches, which will support many of the DIY or hobby projects you have in mind. For example, when working with large sheets or panels, it could be the case that the table top on the Pegasus just isn’t big enough to fit your needs. So what do you do? You could look for a larger workbench, and while this sounds great in principle, the downside is that you’ll end up losing most of the portability that makes this particular work table so appealing in the first place! Weight is more significant, especially if you’re going to be lugging a bench up and down your stairs alongside tool bags and other equipment.

It comes with all the attributes you’d expect from an all-in-one workbench and sawhorse too. Firstly, it’s strong – like seriously strong – with a load capacity of 300 lbs when functioning as a work table, and 1000 lbs when used as a sawhorse, which should be more than sufficient for virtually all users.

All of our shortlisted workbenches have pre-drilled holes which accommodate plastic pegs (aka bench dogs), allowing you to move them around and create a flexible work surface area. The Pegasus sides also fold to convert to a sturdy sawhorse capable of supporting up to 450kg. The built-in shelf is a convenient place to hold your hand or power tools for easy of access. When you're finished simply collapse the Pegasus flat to store away in even small sheds, garages or work spaces. First, let’s point out that the Pegasus requires absolutely zero assembly, and that’s an incredible benefit compared to other models. It was a breeze to set up and break down, and the sliding latches that secure the wings are a brilliant design. We also liked that it came with built-in clamps that store away under the wings (they were the best clamps in the test) and bench dogs to hold workpieces in place. We also liked that we were able to link this table to other Worx tables, providing a longer work surface. Also, popping the wings down to use this workbench as a sawhorse is a breeze. Our only complaint is that it should have a carrying handle at 30 pounds. Yes, the worktable can handle up to 300 pounds. But if you use it as a sawhorse, then it can take up to 1000 pounds. The workbench comes with a full instruction manual that tells you how to set it up, use it, and keep it in good shape. Even for first-time users, the instruction is clear and easy to understand.
