Clean your BBQ before and after use (especially if it is kept outside). Heat the BBQ up prior to cooking to burn away any excess grease. If desired, to maintain even heat distribution during cooking, agitate the charcoal by tapping the grill tray with a cookingutensil. Once completed, the tray can be easily thrown away. In many parks and beaches, there are designated instant light barbecue disposal areas. Be sure to use these if they areavailable. Preparation and Usage

Light the firelighters (long safety matches are recommended). When fully lit, add more Zip Smokeless Coal taking care not to extinguish flames. Place the grill and stand onto a steady, level, non- flammable heat resistant surface sheltered from thewind.

To light the barbecue: without removing the grill surface, insert a lit match through the grill holes, under one corner of the starterpaper. To prevent any cross contamination, keep cooked and raw food separate, including all plates and utensils. Ensure all food is thoroughly defrosted before placing on the BBQ.
