About this deal

This appears to be comfortable enough for my 10 month old and along with the suspension seems to reduce the amount of bumps and dips for the user. The wheels come fully inflated and are advertised as puncture-proof, they simply clip onto the frame of the pram, the front wheels come ready attached.

Micralite FastFold review - Which?

For parenting on the go, GetGo can be buddied with our Newborn Cosy Pod, overnight sleeping carrycot or Silver Cross Dream i-Size infant carrier. Kerbs were a little tricky because the front wheels spin 360 degrees to allow greater movement on the ground. The mesh liner uses breathable fabric keeping them cool on warmer days and offers extra support for heads and legs, providing complete comfort for your child.Choose from sophisticated Sunbeam, cool Carbon and charming Aura, plus two chassis colours – Silver or Black. Even though I can see the mechanism loosening up over time, the parts feel slightly flimsy and even quite dangerous because we caught our fingers a couple of times.

There is a foot brake underneath the back wheels which can be quickly and easily applied/removed with the use of one foot, you do have to put your foot under the brake to release it but it moves without too much resistance so can still be done while wearing flip flops or sandals. The FastFold footmuff doesn’t just help your little one stay snug, the DuPont Sorona material its made from is responsibly sourced, so it helps the world out, too - giving both baby and you that warm feeling inside. It feels sturdy to push and it’s smooth for the parent and the child – the front suspension does a great job of absorbing some of the bumpiness for baby. The seat is dual-position, meaning it can be tilted only once to help your little one nap - it does feature a rather deep recline, however. It is not newborn-friendly because of its ergonomic L-shape, nor is the pushchair compatible with a newborn bassinet attachment. Its design is modern, sturdy (almost technical), and rather eye-catching - and concentrates on driveability and steering comfort. The stroller comes in two boxes, one for the main frame, wheels, tyre pump and rain cover, the other for the seat insert/cushion and hood.

Micralite FastFold stroller reviews, questions, dimensions

For a buggy that prides itself on being quick and easy to fold, this was probably its biggest downfall. From a practicality perspective this is a deal breaker for me, especially if you’re going on long days out because as well we all know, babies need a lot of stuff! The Super-lite can be used from birth upwards with the addition of a Micralite carrycot or the Maxi-Cosi Cabrio car seat. The fabrics on the FastFold stroller are thoughtfully engineered, featuring a 20k weather proof rating to give high quality all weather fabrics along with UPF 50 protection. I have also found these compartments useful for putting baby socks in after you get bored of them being taken off 3710482 times.Instead of a traditional seat, the FastFold features an unusual hammock style – the idea being this helps absorb all those little bumps on your walks. Suitable from birth in lie-flat mode, and with our new Cosy Pod featuring a newborn head hugger, it’s perfect for getting out with baby if you don’t have space for a separate carrycot.

The manoeuvrability is good, the wheels move freely and seldom get stuck in pot holes or pavement cracks and the suspension gives way to a smoother ride than my foam filled travel system. This really is an all-terrain pushchair and I found it good on mud, light on bumpy streets and easy to push up and down hills thanks to its impressive tyre grip. Maximum weight capacity - seat load 22 kg Recommended age range (best to use with a child of) 0-36 months Reversible seat unit No L-shaped, bucket-type seat unit Yes Reclining backrest Yes, 2 positions Full-recline backrest (a bigger-than-a-150-degree-angle to a lie-flat) No Backrest recline type Rear-located recline mechanism (e. The instruction manual was clear and well-illustrated, making it simple to attach all the components in a surprisingly quick time. The hood was a little more tricky to clip on as the clips are to be inserted between hardware which is already on the pram (although my helpful assistant come husband, found it pretty straightforward). Read our full review of the Micralite FastFold pushchair to see what our expert and parent testers thought of it when they put it through its paces at the lab. Since it’s aimed at families who ‘live life to the full’, I was hoping that the pushchair would be a good option for international travel, but it didn’t collapse down to suitable size for a carry-on and even took up more space in the car boot than I thought. To fold, you need to pull the leaver up and push down the button above the leaver, once fully folded you need to hold the front of the stroller to prevent it unfolding and put the lock/catch back on.
