About this deal

T2: Reprogramming The Terminator documentary (including exclusive interviews with James Cameron, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Edward Furlong and many more) – 55 mins HDR grading is subtle, rather than spectacular. Comparisons with the 1080p platter show little overt difference in how bright highlights (often, in this movie, glinting chrome) are handled. More obvious is the switch to a cooler colour palette on the Ultra HD version, which is clearly noticeable in skin tones – Schwarzenegger, Furlong and Hamilton have less of a pinkish hue – and less warmth in the movie's daylight Los Angeles scenes. Das epische Action-Meisterwerk mit Arnold Schwarzenegger in der von Regisseur James Cameron persönlich restaurierten Fassung! outright, but I would say for those interested in a purely intellectual enterprise, it's kind of interesting to see this version looking like it was captured Members of Cast and Crew Commentary actually lists a number that's a few less than on the original release, but I frankly haven't

the DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 mix provides good immersion and some forceful LFE, especially in the film's final act when various showdowns accrue. Do you have a preferred release - or are you waiting for someone to release this movie again and hope for the best? The 4K UHD Blu-ray disc contains only the 1991 theatrical cut. The included 1080p Blu-ray contains the theatrical cut taken from the same 4K restoration, plus the two extended cuts via seamless branching that utilize the additional footage from older transfers of the film elements. Matching the colour scheme and variation of screen grabs this artwork is phenomenal! Inside is just as promising as the outside, including 3D bluray these discs hold a promising viewing of the movie. Terminator 2: Judgment Day is presented on 4K UHD courtesy of Lionsgate Films with a 2160p transfer in 2.40:1. Fans have long

Terminator 2: Judgment Day: Other Editions

I first got T2 on laserdisc before I even had a LD player. (Roger Ebert was responsible for that). I then had at least two T2 DVD's. But I stopped there. I will never buy this movie again until video gets 5/5. I can't believe they released a sub-par UHD of this.

StudioCanal will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Terminator 2 with a brand new 4K Blu-ray edition of the film" Trailers (480i; 6:33): 2017 , This Time There Are Two, Same Make New Mission, and Building the Perfect Arnold. sure, and rather peculiar revisionism at that, but from a (hopefully) purely objective standpoint, to my eyes detail levels are in fact improved in the Previous BD releases for T2 have also suffered from digital cleanup work, so maybe this isn't unexpected, but anyone hoping for a 4K iteration of how this 35mm production will surely have looked in cinemas in 1991 will be disappointed. The other thing is...I'm really happy with my current set. It's NOT 4k, obviously. But I am continuously "wowed" by how great the picture is. So, without having a 4k set to show me the error of my judgment, I remain blissfully ignorant and happy.note that my colleague Martin Liebman actually gave the first Blu-ray release a 4.0 video rating, even while he complained that the entire transfer

Note that the German audio is DTS-HD MA 7.1. So if you're bilingual, maybe this is the one for you. The dearly beloved action sci-fi sequel finally lands on Ultra HD in the U.S. with the identical HEVC H.265 encode seen in the European release by Studio Canal. Literally, this is the exact same copy with an identical menu screen and the same white-text screen at the start informing viewers that the French-based studio conducted the 3D remaster. And since James Cameron reportedly supervised and approved this new 4K digital intermediate, this means fans must endure the same overzealous tinkering and digital manipulation. As mentioned in my review of the U.K. import, the DNR may not be Predatorlevels of atrocity, but it is nonetheless bad and disheartening for an action classic, and there are also several instances of aliasing and moiré effects along the sharpest edges and in light fixtures. general category, steelbook collectors may be willing to overlook some of the technical deficiencies of this release just to have some admittedly luxeTerminator 2: Judgment Day is presented in its original 2.25:1 aspect ratio, encoded with H.265 compression and finished with a static HDR-10 grade. Terminator 2: Judgment Day 4K Blu-ray offers decent video and superb audio in this enjoyable Blu-ray release about Terminator 2: Judgment Day's previous home video releases, to the point that some are calling this title "cursed", but it's interesting The whole deal with Cameron, this movie, The Abyss and True Lies is genuinely approaching levels of bizarre. For all the criticisms many have long since lobbed at Lucas for his (alleged) insecurities and neuroses with the constant retooling of all things Star Wars on home video, one could never accuse him of neglect or outright disavowment. Maybe he obsessed over those movie too much his own but they always mattered to him at least. I can't for the life of me figure where Cameron's headspace is with the films in question.
