About this deal

Consumers who have been around the block – and own higher-end gear – will probably have heard something better. As each part was designed with precision accuracy, it is easy to use and will not hinder the audio transmission. Admittedly the chassis of the Zero is made from plastic, but it doesn’t feel brittle and is strengthened by the inclusion of a metal faceplate.

The Tanya are polar opposites in tuning, espousing a warm with a thick note weight, with greater bass quanty on display. The conservative tuning, coupled with a snug fit, renders the HOLA suitable for long listening sessions, with nary an ounce of fatigue. These IEMs were built using high-quality drivers and materials and tuned to deliver a well-balanced sound signature.

Well, considering the Zero cost less than many restaurant meals, we can’t complain too much about the spread of accessories provided.Nothing about this bass is going to pop right out at you, but it does a good job of establishing a body to the frequency response. By the way if you are thinking that you will boost up the bass from EQ then , it will not make a noticeable difference….

EDIT1 - Detail comparison against the DQ6 and ZEX Pro - The Zero wins (barely) against the DQ6 and loses (again barely) against the Zex Pro. The Marriage of Figaro -The opera song from Shawshank Redemption, terrible recording but fun and gets me in the mood to listen to music.I’ve been heavily using the 7Hz Salnotes Zero for about a week and so far, it’s showing no signs of damage or wear whatsoever. However, using a dedicated DAC can improve the overall sound quality and provide a more detailed reproduction, especially if you are listening to Lossless or Hi-Res music. As an example, the tambourine in The Sword’s Iron Swan are especially penetrating and are a good example of this. These IEMs, although wired, are designed and built with the goal of just delivering brilliant sound. I personally feel that the Truthear Hola is packaged bettered, but the Salnotes Zero sounds a tiny bit better.

With every week bringing a new hype-train, many budget ChiFI have their 15 minutes of fame and are then forgotten. However, Linsoul will not be responsible for additional administrative or handling fees charged by your local courier company or customs. Unfortunately, the dreaded ‘S’ word – sibilance – rears its ugly head, and the upper treble can be fatiguing and harsh, especially for our treble-sensitive brethren. It’s admirable for an IEM to show some extended detail in the highs without being overtly bright, but some should be aware of the peaks that do cut through the timbre at times. Salnotes Zero provides the ultimate audio experience on your smartphones, laptops, and desktop computers. Though if you are obtuse to EQ you'll definitely find everything a little drowned out on the E3000, on a phone without a dedicated DAC/Amp attached. The 10mm driver with a metal composite diaphragm is protected by a plastic molded housing and a metal faceplate with the brand and model inscriptions. The sound is vivid and revealing, a perfect mixture of instruments and vocals, lows, mids, and highs.
