About this deal
But lines like these are only one of the pleasures of Jamie Smart’s comic strip adventures, Bunny vs Monkey. Each one of the self-contained stories is a work of invention and comic genius, and gloriously silly. First published in the brilliant Phoenix Comic, Jamie Smart’s stories of Looshkin aka ‘the maddest cat in the world’ are now gathered together in a bumper collection of stories, all full colour comic strips, all outrageously funny.
Smart would later revive the characters of Bear and Looshkin for the children's comic The Phoenix, with Looshkin as the titular character. He’s passionate about helping individuals and businesses to deepen their understanding of CLARITY® and to create the results that matter to them. Yma, mae Looshkin yn drysu rhai gofodwyr, yn dychryn estroniaid ac yn rhoi antur ei fywyd i gorrach gardd. These comics start out normally, until the title character starts doing something his own way and/or just uses his own imagination, and things escalate from there all the way to the end of each comic, with lots of hilarious antics!Bear is Karl's best friend, and they sometimes have serious discussions although both have acknowledged a distaste for doing so. Looshkin often plays cruel, sadistic, and nonsensical pranks on Bear, and it is not uncommon for faeces and dismemberment to come into play. Mrs Johnson gets a cat in the hope of making her family a bit more normal, but little does she know that she’s just brought home Looshkin, who is anything but. Salad soon became the world’s leading NLP product business, and he was acknowledged by his peers as one of the world’s finest trainers. He also enjoys the black arts, and he often attempts to do horrible things to Bear by casting spells on him or making look alike Bears to annoy/kill/maim.
Smart's linework is bold and expressive, and his panels are littered with information and throw-away gags. So at least we know what he’s getting for Christmas because he made me check and thankfully there is a second Looshkin book out now!Karl rarely takes action against Looshkin's attacks on Bear, arguably because he too is afraid of Looshkin to a certain extent. It follows the adventures of a small stuffed bear named Bear and his roommate/ antagonist, a psychotic housecat named Looshkin. Casgliad o stribedi comig byr ydy hwn, pob un â’i linell stori ei hun, gan ei wneud yn hawdd i fynd i mewn ac allan o fyd Looshkin. Looshkin is named ‘the maddest cat in the world’ for good reason–this kitty is absolutely bonkers and random.
