It curved around Blumwald like a cupped hand, across valley to climb hillsides and along riverbanks. the prose in this book was really exquisite; oftentimes it felt like you were actually in the castle and its grounds with mina and the witch. Everything about this book was perfection, the writing, the characters, the suspense/mystery, the romance, the plot twists.

As though, in extinguishing the flame, I had opened a door, and something was waiting to come through.
