This vintage stomp box gained popularity among musicians who appreciate subtlety. It was originally designed as the younger brother of MXR’s widely successful Phase 90 pedal. But I’m happy to say that MXR hasn’t made the same mistake and they’ve been pumping out the Phase 90 since the early 80s. In fact, they’ve only expanded their range of variations on this iconic pedal. The JF 06 Vintage Phase pedal is similar in design to the MXR Phase 90.
