What can you you say about a Disney film ,they are normally great films ,this one is a great film to watch ,either on your own or with your family ,friends etc ,,but i was a bit disappointed there was not more extras on the Blu-ray disc ! When Mulan is wounded in battle however, the secret of her gender is discovered and she faces exposure and disgrace. Based on an ancient Chinese poem, the legend of MULAN beautifully unfolds in Disney's 36th animated classic!

And it also picks up on another major theme that we have noticed in Disney films in recent years ~ think ‘Tangled’(2010) and both the “Frozen’ films (2013 and 2019) ~ in that it is very much a film espousing female empowerment ~ in fact, Wuxia films often include female warriors and heroines, so this is fitting.
