Now, in January 2021, fans have finally caught their first glimpse of season 3 thanks to a newly released trailer. He is quick-witted, confident with an eccentric intensity and has a great depth of compassion towards others. Best mates Vinnie, Dylan, Ashley, Cardi, Tommo and JJ have dealt, scammed, and laughed their way through three decades of friendship.

On 24 April 2020, Sky One released the second series' trailer, briefly showing the events that would occur and announcing its release date of 7 May.The series was created by Joe Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst and has proven to be a huge hit with audiences and critics since launching in 2019, with Gilgun picking up a BAFTA nomination for Best Male Performance in a Comedy Program in 2021. He is close to Dylan and later has a father-son relationship with Vinnie after learning he's his biological father. He makes sexual advances toward her though she shows no interest in him and later assaults her, resulting in Vinnie viciously beating him. The second series of Sky One comedy- drama television series Brassic began broadcasting on 7 May 2020.

In April 2023, it was renewed for a sixth series, with production having begun in mid-2023 to air in 2024. Vinnie blew his first safe when he was seven years old and has been committing various criminal acts to survive ever since, leading to him forming a criminal gang with his friends.Whilst she has a soft spot for Vinnie and the gang, she is aware that their presence is holding her back from her long-term plans. Brassic is a British comedy-drama television series created by Joe Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst for Sky One and became Sky's most successful comedy series in seven years. To keep the more legitimate side of his business afloat, he relies on Vinnie to bring him dubiously acquired cars and chops them up to sell. If season 3 was to follow a similar pattern and arrive nine months after it started filming, we could potentially see Brassic 3 in or around July 2021. Suffering from insomnia, Vinnie decides to have a chilled night in at the local pub, but things take a sinister turn when a stranger breaks in.

Co-created by Joseph Gilgun and Danny Brocklehurst, it stars Gilgun alongside Michelle Keegan, Dominic West, Damien Molony, Tom Hanson, Aaron Heffernan, Ryan Sampson, Parth Thakerar, Bronagh Gallagher, Joanna Higson, and Steve Evets. Damien Molony as Dylan Golding (series 1–4; guest series 5): Vinnie's best friend and Erin's now ex-boyfriend who is knowledgeable and skillful at poker. Joe Gilgun, Michelle Keegan, Damien Molony, Tom Hanson, Aaron Heffernan, Ryan Sampson, Parth Thakerar, Steve Evets, Anthony Welsh and Dominic West reprised their roles from the first series, while Ramon Tikaram and Bronagh Gallagher joined the main cast.

The final episode of season 4 saw Dylan being brutally bundled into the boot of a car as hired goons kidnapped him. He considered suicide after splitting with his girlfriend, devastating Vinnie, who in turn sent him to rehab, which he later escaped from. For series 2, Claude Scott-Mitchell joined the cast in the role of Sara, a new romance for Maloney's character. He added: “There’s this whole idea of it being a forgotten town and forgotten people in a way, a former mill town feel where at one point there would’ve been quite a lot of prosperous businesses and everyone would’ve been in full employment. He has frequent run-ins with Jim, often attempting to either sabotage or take over his illegal dealings.
