I dispense 1 full pump into my dry hands and gently massage it all over my dry face. Usually that’s enough but sometimes when I feel like I need more, I simply get more product. Surfactants are the main cleansing agent in conventional cleansers. Oil cleansers have oils—either synthetic or plant-based oils—that remove grime and have little to no surfactants, which gives them a moisturizing effect. Oil cleansers tenderly remove extra oil and impurities from the skin without stripping it of its natural moisture. How do you use an oil cleanser?

Using dry hands, massage it onto your dry face, and it immediately goes to work. Add water and it transforms to a milky, vitamin-rich emulsion that rinses clean, leaving your skin feeling soft and nurtured; never dry or greasy. But if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that cleansing oils do a stellar job at shifting stubborn formulas – waterproof mascara included. Use an oil as the first step to break down your make-up, then follow up with a gel or milk to treat the skin itself for a thorough cleanse. For oilier skin types, look for lightweight ingredients such as jojoba and grapeseed oils. Dispense 2-3 pumps into dry hands. Massage onto dry face to dissolve make-up and other impurities. Rinse thoroughly. Tips and Advice The KOSE SOFTYMO Speedy Cleansing Oil is part of a line of cleansing oils which also include the Deep Cleansing Oil and Whilst Cleansing Oil.

Shu Uemura is a legendary brand, and this cleansing oil is one of its top selling products. Its silky-smooth texture is formulated using 8 different types of botanical oils. As they do with all their products, Dr. Sheth’s has created this potent cleansing oil keeping in mind the skin’s needs. In addition to cleansing, the oil cleanser contains relaxing components like Moringa and antioxidants like vitamin C. After cleansing, the skin seems vibrant and renewed. This is my personal favourite and I consider it as one of the best cleansing oils for oily skin types. As one of the more high-end products on this list, you’d expect quite a bit from the Shu Uemura Ultim8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil – and it definitely delivers. I try to get into every nook and cranny (side of my nose, side of my forehead, under my chin) and after about 1 minute, I rinse with water. What I like about DHC Deep Cleansing OilIt’s certainly a strong enough cleansing gel to effectively get rid of impurities, but contains nourishing ingredients to keep the skin hydrated. I'm in my early thirties, so I'm at that unique stage of life where I'm dealing with both acne and wrinkles (#blessed). I tried the DHC cleansing oil for the first time about a year ago and it's been a permanent staple in my routine since. This is not an easy club to get into, as I have sensitive skin, am an admitted skincare snob, and hate change. I'm also a licensed cosmetologist and have been reviewing products for over a decade, so my standards are abnormally high. Needless to say, I don't invite new products into my routine often.
