Our Lord, let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.” All content on HOTD is free. So who shall we do a dua for today? How about fathers? Fathers aren’t perfect but neither are we. One thing is for sure our fathers have loved & protected us when we were young & helpless. They did more for us than we can possibly imagine. May Allah protect my wonderful father & may Allah protect your father too. Tonight HOTD remembers fathers. May Allah bless them all with Jannah. Ameen!! If a person recites three ayat of Surah Ar-Rum and if he misses his normal recitation of the day, he will still be rewarded for it. This applies to the night as well.

We have previously published an article about Prophet Sulaiman (as) who, when building Masjid Al-Aqsa, made three HUGE du'as which Allah answered:Ae Aisha! Kya tumhe pata chala hai ke ALLAH Ta’ala ne Mujhe wo naam batla diya jab us naam ke waseele se Usse dua ki jati hai to Wo zarur qubool farmata hai.” Traveling is also an activity, which people undertake on daily basis. No matter how small a distance is or whatever means of traveling is to be adopted, there is always a concern of safety with traveling. Therefore, it is imperative that a person asks for the protection and safety of Allah Almighty. سُبْحَنَ الَّذِىْ سَخَّرَلَنَا هَذَا وَ مَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِيْنْ وَ اِنَّا اِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُوْنْ Allah says, 'And to Allah belong the Beautiful Names, so invoke Him by them'. [The Noble Qur'an, 7:180]

Just as Sulaiman (as) supplicated Allah while performing a good deed for His sake - rebuilding Masjid Al-Aqsa - we should also fill our days with good deeds while we supplicate Allah! From giving to those most in need to honouring His Blessed Masjid, there are so many ways we can show our sincerity to Allah and our desire to please Him. As we await His answer to our du'as, we should never become impatient - rather, we should increase our righteous actions for His sake!Our Lord, make us not [objects of] trial for the wrongdoing people. And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.”

Today let’s make a dua for people who are trying to find their life partners. May Allah help those brothers and sisters who are looking to get married and fulfil an important part of their Sunnah. May Allah help them find true love and real friendship in their prospective partners. May Allah reward their good intentions. Yes it can be difficult finding that right person but we all know whatever Allah has planned is the best for us. Some things can simply take time. Allah is the best planner. Let’s have faith. Ameen! The best remembrance is: ‘there is none worthy of worship except Allah ( La ilaha illallah)’ and the best supplication is: ‘All praise is due to Allah ( Al-ḥamdulillah).’ ( At-Tirmidhi) 2- Best Dua For Glorifying Allah The person who listens to the sneeze and witnesses the other person reciting the Dua after sneezing, should say the following: يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُThe best way to prepare for du'a is to make wudu, face the Qiblah, raise your hands and call upon your Lord in a low voice. Our Lord, upon You we have relied, and to You we have returned, and to You is the destination. Our Lord, make us not [objects of] torment for the disbelievers and forgive us, our Lord. Indeed, it is You who is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.”
