That was a MAJOR hole in the story for events, because how would Hope not remember her aunt begging the other family not to tell anyone?I always have trouble writing my reviews for Hoover's books, because I can't ever convey how emotionally impacting these books are for me. I don’t really give a shit what kind of mood you’re in, because I’m in a pretty shitty mood myself, Holder. The melodrama was as problematic in this novel as the former, but with notably weaker character resonance and little offering in the way of substantated story.

LOL dont worry I'm not a masochist but the fact that I got the same feelings like I was reading it for the first time means a lot. Now, what makes Losing Hope such a great read was seeing the inner struggles Holder was dealing with and how he overcame them. What made Hopeless such a great read was all the dynamics that went on, like Sky unraveling her past and Holder making Sky whole again. Generally, I knew what was going to happen, but I honestly wasn't prepared to feel so much or to cry as much as I did.Also having now read a few Colleen Hoover books finding her writing a little formulaic and repetitive.
